I am absolutely at a loss for words. The pictures with you and Maarten in front really put it all into perspective!

Good luck on moving this massive thing outside. I like the motor gear system too. This will be like 16 feet tall or so when it's finished, you need a ladder soon!! Of course this is my first time seeing it because Trevor told me about it so sorry about that.

I saw the video when you uploaded it to YouTube and my first reaction was me just covering my mouth with both of my hands, then sitting at the computer screen for about 5 minutes.

Beautiful !!! I kind of saw that coming the tubes were getting way to big and flimsily. Would building box supports then replacing each one with tubes as your work your way around the Ferris wheel?

I saw this on Facebook and I cringed when I saw the top starting to buckle and knew it was all going downhill (or really, just down 
). Hopefully nothing is destroyed too badly and rebuilding it is easy. At least you've narrowed down the number of possible ways to put it all together successfully! If you're going to rebuild it, I would use a ladder and build the wheel from the bottom up to the very top to avoid a possible collapse again.

I think that collapse could have been avoided if you finished the wheel keeping the gap at the top.. the outside of the wheel had no rigidity as it wasn't a complete loop, and the spokes are there for tension, not to support the outside.
