Instead of silicone spray I was reccomended to get GT85 to lube my trains. I've got it and wondering if anyone else uses it and how well it works.

As long as it doesn't contain petroleum, it is fine. Personally, I just stick with pure silicon oil.

It's one of the lesser used lubes on here, but we've heard before that bicycle chain lube works great.

It worked really well actually and has helped my train lots. I would reccomend it and it's very cheap. Not sure how it is in comparison with Silicon Spray but it's definately worth trying
