So I was looking around on the knex website today and I found they have some new vv coaster sets!

The first one is called Crossfire Chaos Crossfire Chaos Roller Coaster Building Set 744476524171
It's a launched coaster... but it uses a rubber band launch, real cheap. I like the blue track though and it's pretty cheap at 40 dollars because of using a rubber band launch, maybe I'll get it sometime. Besides, I never use the battery launchers on my real coasters. :P

The second one is called Sky Sprinter Sky Sprinter Roller Coaster Building Set 744476524782
It's a gigantic 7 foot launched coaster that costs 130 dollars but only has 800 pieces, I guess because it's so tall. It has a lot of standard pieces though and it seems like there's some kind of new pieces. The loop has a spine with flexies and the green micro to normal connectors, and it seems like the rods are connected by some weird ladder piece that's missing the hole for a rod to go through.

The third one is called Double Doom Double Doom Roller Coaster Building Set 744476554024
It looks like a weird micro version of screamin serpent with 2 loops. The whole coaster has the flexi rod spine like for the loops on the other two and is also made mostly of standard size pieces for a change. It also has 2 cars, and they're connected!! I guess that's why it's called Double Doom. It costs 75 dollars and has almost 900 pieces... a lot better deal than Sky Sprinter.

So what do you guys think of these sets?

I think well of these sets mostly because I got Crossfire Chaos (:P) a while back. I snapped the rubber band while I was goofing around with it. Hehe. But I really like the idea of the Double Doom, I've always wanted a car connector but I've never been able to find a set for myself that has one, I might look into that.

1. Maverick 2. Millennium Force 3.Top Thrill Dragster 4. Bizarro (Six Flags New England) 5. The Beast 6. X2 7. Full Throttle 8. Banshee 9. Xcelerator 10. Medusa (Six Flags Discovery Kingdom)

Wow 75 dollars for the double doom :P , what a rip off, at least it seems somewhat realistic and they used a backbone for the track!

They look interesting but VV sets always seem overpriced. Then again, so do all of their sets. I'm happy they brought back the BBF even if it is $299.99 and the balls are weird colors.
