I am back with a new project. I am planning on finishing this B&M looper/floorless coaster as my first somewhat complex model. I plan to reuse the station from Survivor and change up the roofing accordingly. The coaster's track is primarly made of flexi rods, which I have found to be much harder to shape than grey rods. But for now, I give you, "Arsonist" IMG_20180307_213208_013.jpg193.85KB6 downloads 20180307_192758.jpg128.98KB2 downloads 20180307_192922.jpg133.95KB1 downloads 20180307_192720.jpg119.73KB1 downloads 20180307_192934.jpg140KB1 downloads
Of course, please comment suggestions!

I think your loop should be a little taller. Also note how on the loop is elevated off of the ground creating a triangle-like shape under the loop.
Thanks, I addressed those issues in this update.
The loop is too round, but other than that it looks really good.
I tried my best with the shaping in this next update. Thanks!
So I tried to shape it again and I think I got it. It's still not 100% perfect but that'll come later. But I'm not sure if I want to have a dive loop going to the left or right after the loop. I feel the transition I placed is too awkward. Or is that just me? I would like the dive loop to go right and out to the open space. 20180309_213259.jpg226.32KB1 downloads 20180309_212322.jpg145.38KB2 downloads20180309_212304.jpg184.53KB0 downloads20180309_212241.jpg216.84KB0 downloads20180309_212258.jpg142.17KB1 downloads
As always, please comment!

I think the concept looks fine. After all, a loop into a dive loop is classic. If I had to guess, I'd say the half loop part of the dive loop would be right across from the TT motor unit.
Looking good! Super smooth all around. Dive loop sounds like a great idea! Dive loop to the left would be a more compact/complex layout because you have to work around existing supports. Dive loop to the right would be a sprawling layout, requiring you to plan ahead to make it back to the station.

Thanks for the feedback! I decided for the dive loop to go to the left.

I decided for it to go left and I quite like it. Thanks!
This is really nice! That shaping is very nice! I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either direction.
Thank you! I don't often work with flexi rods so it is a challenge.
Hey all, sorry it's been a while. I took a break after attempting the dive loop because nothing I did worked. I bit the bullet and got back to it 2 weeks later and have been on a roll since. The shaping is not perfect but I hope to fix that later on just by wiggling the track.
I decided to make the dive loop(immalmen?) To the left and that into a 270° roll. It lost some speed so I added a MCBR that will drop down under the lift into 2 interlocking corkscrews and maybe an airtime hill. Not sure though.
Lastly, I updated the station that I used in Survivor. Hopefully those fine details are pleasing. 20180403_154507.jpg150.5KB0 downloads20180326_151329.jpg190.81KB0 downloads20180326_150740.jpg185.67KB0 downloads20180402_150421.jpg144.08KB0 downloads

I went absolutely mental with unneeded details haha. More to come. 20180403_201125.jpg224.65KB0 downloads20180403_201022.jpg111.65KB0 downloads20180403_200955.jpg114.14KB0 downloads20180403_201104.jpg231.39KB0 downloads

I hope this was a good update. Please tell me what you think! I will have a test video for you all soon. Later!

That is without a doubt the most amazing micro station on an SS coaster I have ever seen! Instant inspiration! Please, carry on. I can't even fathom making a better micro station than this on an SS coaster. Edit: v Woah I didn't even see the dog!
Lol . . . I love that dog. I could talk a lot about how spectacular the shaping looks, but that station is just so ridiculous. You're fingers must be so numb!
The shaping is great and the structure looks really sturdy. But it's a shame about the mid course lift hill, with that motor hopefully it won't be too noticeable.
I love the detail in the station. Love the trains too!

Thank you! I hope to make more scenery for this ride.

Haha I love him too. I used his name for my username. At the time of building the floor, my fingers didn't even look like fingers anymore. Hard stuff but definitely worth it.

Thanks! The MCBR is kinda a downer but I think it'll be better once I relube the trains. It should be a smoother transition.
Well I have a small update, as well as a test video.

I am also a fan of the shaping! Using maximum crossties is a really good look. It seems like you're maintaining speed pretty well, and the MCBR doesn't bother me at all.
Also, that station is bonkers. Cool.
Great shaping and detail here... even the supports look realistic without sacrificing functionality. Can’t wait to see more of this.
^Heh, that does look a lot like the screw now that you mention it.

Thank you! I was really going for a realistic look so I'm glad I accomplished that. I hope to add more!
maybe you can add a tunnel to the mid course brake run.....
Also interlocking corkscrews????..... reminds me of the near miss on bizzaro
I didn't think of adding a tunnel, maybe I will. And yes, the piece of theming is similar to that. I'll explain that later.

Thank you very much! I wish I could say the same about the pacing in after the MCBR. I'm hoping to fix that.
I’m not sure what you’re teasing, but I really hope it’s sone fire theming!
And the coaster keeps its pacing pretty well, reminds me why I’ll always love Screamin Serpent models over Coasterdynamix.
You're exactly right, it is fire theming. I will go over that in a future update, closer to the finished product.
So, thank you for the comments guys! It really encourages me to continue. However, losing speed does not encourage me, which is what happened before I re-lubed the train. The layout is not finalized and I hope I don't have to revert back to this version as it's far too short. I also want to talk about the theming later once I find out what I'll do after the airtime hill. But for now, I simply have a full circuit test of "Version A"
Another thing, I'm looking to add lighting to the lift hill, sort of like the Lego power functions LEDs. Does anyone know of similar lights that I could use to add realistic lamp lighting to paths and block sections?
At a push you might be able to have an inline or something like that. But I'd keep it as it is. You've done well to get 4 inversions from quite a small lift hill.
It's another really nice, clean and tidy, well shaped coaster from you. I reckon you can go bigger next time!

Thanks! I decided to make it longer. It doesn't look too neat right now but it will later.
So, I've decided to rename this coaster "Wildfire". It will fit better with the music I have chosen and should be really special. I've finalized the layout and it's just to make theming elements next. I bought an Arduino to help with some of the practical effects. I have run out of lime green flexi rods, but more are on the way. I do have a couple of pictures for you: 20180426_202922.jpg196.55KB0 downloads20180426_202906.jpg193.25KB0 downloads
