Here is the start of my 13th coaster. I have had my previous coaster, Dynamic Force, SBNO for about 2 years in my room. It took me about 10.5 hours straight to dismantle it and about 7 hours to put the parts away. Once I built that coaster, I was mainly working on my two backyard coasters. Now that my backyard coasters are built, I'm ready for another K'nex coaster. As you can see in the pictures, Kinetic Force will be 46 inches wide by 105 inches long. I'm thinking it will be about 4.5 feet tall. It's going to be a B&M twister with a compact layout. The 3D base truly does use a lot of parts, but I purposely built it with parts that I usually don't use much. Two of my previous coaster, Python, and Ricochet, had the same 3D base (just smaller as the dimensions where 38 inches by 90 inches) which I really like because I can slide the whole thing around in my room. It also provides a solid foundation for my tube supports which greatly increases efficiency. I will have two 3 car trains. I plan to have a dive drop like Gatekeeper to start the ride after the chain-lift.

I would really appreciate any thoughts or comments on this coaster. I'm kinda exited after not building for two years.

Ya actually Viper and Chicken Run (expanded) are my two backyard coasters you can look at in models database. I added them fairly recently. In the videos I have pictures.

Here is what the coaster currently looks like now that I finished the block brakes and chain lift. Next, I plan on adding a dive drop (like Gatekeeper) as my first element after the chain lift. Any thoughts?

Also, I still plan on using motor oil (applying a drop on each axle) to lubricate my trains like I have for my past several coasters. I love how much more efficient my trains are after applying the lubricant. However, I saw that it might be better to use thinner motor oil. So my question is would lubricating my trains with thinner motor oil work even better than motor oil with average viscosity or not?

The crest is pretty big, and looks a bit out of place, but it might be fine after adding the drop.  As for the oil, I would think a lower viscosity would be a better solution for the very small axles.  I doubt you're going to see much of a difference either way, though.

Okay, well I have changed the crest a little. A lot of my coasters in the past have had crests that are too sharp, so I was trying to change that. I should have more pictures coming in a week or so.

I bought a "Blaster Silicone Lubrricant" that I am going to try for my trains. I'm perfectly fine with how well the motor oil worked, but I was just curious how this will do. We will see.

Thanks for the comment!

I now have the drop pretty much done. I plan on having the next element being an over banked turn where the entrance and exit crisscross. The dive drop should be very efficient with the spine I added to the track. Anyways what do ya think?
