A section of roller coaster track has been spotted on site but the park hasn't announced anything yet!

Could be a launch!  Could be a cable lift.  I see that curve at the end.  Very curious.

Love the gray 32mm rod shoring, though  :D

Yep looks like a cable lift to me.

Holy crap it's Millennium Force

I don't have the exact measurement but it's around 12' 1"

Hopefully I have enough or close to enough pieces and I can finish this by the end of the year. I'm gonna have to upgrade to ball bearing trains too because this would likely not work otherwise.

Dude my goodness this is nuts.  It looks incredible, just like the real ride.  I agree on the bearing trains as a requirement, as they're going to let you keep the scale more realistic.  Good luck!

The trackwork is great, but even better the supports are spot on!

That's badass.

But how is this only 12 feet? Excluding the wider supports at the bottom, I This lift is about 26 metallic green rods tall (had to guess once I hit the wider supports at the bottom). That equals to about 13 feet so... wait. Yeah. That's so weird, though, because this looks like it's 20 feet high.

I'm not done building yet.

I'm definitely interested in seeing how this goes with the ball bearing trains.  I'm really excited with what's possible now that they're available.

Wow, that's very impressive! The structure looks amazing and I really hope you have enough pieces to make this work because this could be legendary.

Thanks everyone!

Since last time I’ve moved the lift/drop to it’s final location and tied it down (for the second time, it fell down once about 2 weeks ago >_<) the wind is bad sometimes. Also added the catwalk and maintenance elevator track.

Here's the base using 2 by 4's and also lights that my brother got, we still need a way to channel the light through the towers better so no night photos yet.

There’s some spots that have to be straightened.

I already started the main box support for the first overbanked turn a while ago so it shouldn't be too long before the next update.

Yep, still looking great.  How are the pieces holding up in the sun/rain?  Also, do you think you're going to have room for the end of the ride behind the house?

This is the best recreation yet.  everything looks spot on, you should send this to Cedar Point when it's finished. But have your neighbors asked you anything yet?
