hill?

What?

First as in first inversion?

Or First as in being constructed first?

Have you noticed

that all but a few of Floorlesses are themed around mythology? Medusa, Kraken,

Deamon, and now Hydra. The exceptions being scream and one in England.

A clone is a coaster to me, no matter what. Either way, not every clone is different. I have talked to the folks over at B&M personally (through that summer internship) and they said that though the general layouts of most clones are the same, there are small tweaks to better the ride. Such things as new track shaping in some areas (0-G Roll on BTR for one instance) and new technologies are often applied to the clones. Not to mention the footers and supporting that has to be different....

Hydra just looks so good to me. The colors fit into the

park so well and the unique layout i think will deffinitly make it the best new ride in

2005 that ill get on. Im suprise its almost done so soon, but i guess theres a reason for

it.

Cedar fair has been making so very smart choices latelly, hydra and

silver bullet just add to them. Two unique B&Ms that the guests will love on

each coast, theyll really give the chain a huge boost. After all, CFs income was up

8% in its 3rd from last year, im sure thatll go up even more next year. The question is,

will KK bring up SFs dissapointing income thats down 3% from last year? Itll be an

interesting year!

KK will be a great investment in the short-term for

SFGADV, but if they don't spend money elsewhere its going to kill them in

long-term. People will realize the problems with the park and wont want to come back

and their money will be spent elsewhere (Dorney). Next year the advertising and

first-time visitors will be a huge boost no question, but 3-5 years down the road will

really tell if its a great investment or not.
