I don't like the colors so far but that's

great that another dive machine is going to be built with Oblivioin being torn down. (I

am assuming the rumors of a dive machine are true)
The supports to me look like

normal B&M supports except for that large one but it is nowhere near the size of

the TTD supports. Hopefully 150ft at least for a real fun diver!

Too bad it isn't something that tall but its

definatly a Dive Machine (unless they did something different which I doubt). That

track is wide!

Dude, I can just see that happening! All the

SFGADV fanboys would be going insane about Kingda Ka and two days before the

grand opening, they'd find out that this Busch Gardens coaster will beat their

record!! That would be too funny!!

If that happened,

BG should sue SF for Somthing big cuz if they hold up the tallest in the world sign it is

false-someone tell me if I'm wrong, but I thought rides who own the tallest

record have to drop it to give it to the new one...................................................

Some guy whol lives next to Alton Towers complained about the

noise and sued and so now they have to take Oblivion down because of the noise.

That was what I heard from Screamscape

I read somthing about B&M and they stated that

they dont want to build coasters of 200-somthing feet or lauch coasters. So I seriosuly

doubt this will be taller then Kinda Ka. (BTW: The Hulk's launch was built by a

diffrent company)

Sorry, Dak, but one of the reasons Hercules was

removed was because of the noise complaints. That is why Hydra will be filled with

sand.

No^ you are

wrong there 7th.
It was taken down because of increasing costs to maintain it. It

was right off into a lake, it sunk in and violated some property lines. People

didn't want the coaster to move into their yard, so they agreed to take it down.

There were no charges pressed like the Dumbasss at Alton Towers.....................

Talon was the Guinea pig for filling the supports with sand because they wanted to see

if it helped maintain the music from the Dentzel Carousel(I know my DP History)

Well, if BGT is getting a coaster, anyone heard

anything about the huge warehouse being built at BGW (where Wilde Mouse was)?

They almost have the building enclosed, and after closing I suppose they will begin

interior construction (it is completely bare inside, and there is nothing noticeable around

it other than regular warehouse parts. Just wondering if anyone is up on its news.

They track at BGT is most definitely B&M (Anheuser Busch has done

their most recent coasters with the help of B&M, and are likely faithful in another

ride from them). The colors are basic, supermanish as well, but hopefully theming will

make up for it.

Dak, I am not sure what you mean about Alton

Towers- they actually had a noise abatement violation order slapped on them, so from

next March, as it stands, every time Oblivion is run, the park get charged £20,000. But,

the park are appealing and have stated the evidence used as 'erroneous'- I

believe they have taken noise measurements of their own. Is this what you were

trying to say?

Gravitiac, last I heard was that there were teasers put up in

the park, the ride sounds similar to Hex at Alton, I wouldn't be surprised if they

install a Vekoma Madhouse ride in there, with that warehouse space, or some kinda

walkthrough ride.

I have seen pictures over on CoasterForce.com and it is

definitely good ol' B&M Dive Machine track- it even has the movement

wheels installed on it, so I would guess the pieces shown are a brake/station piece.

The rails are blue, track/ties red as I recall, so yeah, like Superman. But- the colours

tie in with the teaser masks placed around the park.

Hate to double post but I saw someone stating that

Oblivion will be removed- this is not true, Oblivion will not be removed- it is still an

E-ticket ride and will remain so for the near future, Alton are appealing as I said and

they have high chances of winning. It would be very drastic for them to remove

Oblivion- they may just plant extra screening around the ride, like they did around the

New Adventureland area the past few years, to allow for these areas to come under

the new, more relaxed planning guidelines. The people in question own a pottery

factory churning out twice as much noise as Alton, 24/7, all year much to the chagrin

of the local residents, so the Ropers haven't really got a chance!
