[b]No^ you are wrong there
7th.
It was taken down because of increasing costs to maintain it. It was right off
into a lake, it sunk in and violated some property lines. People didn't want the
coaster to move into their yard, so they agreed to take it down. There were no
charges pressed like the Dumbasss at Alton Towers..................... Talon was the
Guinea pig for filling the supports with sand because they wanted to see if it helped
maintain the music from the Dentzel Carousel(I know my DP
History)

Actually Talon was filled with sand because the locals
didn't want the noise that comes with B&M rides. Same with Hydra.
Hercules was taken down for many reasons, the GP complained about it, the noise,
and increasing maintanance costs.

They want an enjoyable experience and they pay good money for it, they dont want a
poor ride. Why do you think Drachen Fire was dismantled and melted?

Towers is encouraging their guests to scream as loud as they can on Oblivion (Way to
go!). Also, one of the people's factories put out more noise than Oblivion.
Once again, Oblivion isn't beign torn down.

[b]Stupid Bastards who move
near a park, if they have a problem just get the hell out and move!
Here at
DP, Hercules' Helix was right next to someones backyard, but they didnt give a
damn...................

They lived there before Oblivion was built. I
don't remember whether it was before the park opened or not.

by John Broome and Corkscrew was a couple of years away..... but they tried to get
the fireworks cancelled this year, and next year, and the years after that- but the judge
threw the case out until the weeks AFTER this year's display! So the
fireworks are safe for one more year at least.
Oblivion is definitely here to
stay, I have no doubt that they can get rid of the noise problems by perhaps filling the
tracks with sand (can be done without taking the track apart, I am sure) and fitting the
rubber rollback cover to soften the clunk-clunk-clunk of the rollback arm, also toning
down the sound effects of the ride too. Screams aren't a problem-the court
official who visited the Roper's house said that there are very faint screams
which can't be heard above normal noises like birdsong and rustling trees.
