The Curse of CP

id like to call the curse of cp. Now, ive just realised that every coaster ever to take a
major record fom cp has been cursed. Think im joking, just look at the info:
-Corkscrew opened on 5/15/1976 with the record for most inversions, which is 3.
On 5/29/76, 2 weeks later, SFGAM opened demon, which had 4 inversions. Many of
you may remember a few years back when demon got stuck upside down for well
over an hour....
-Magnum held the record for tallest and fastest coaster in
89, and was beaten by steel phantom in 91. We all know what happened there, steel
phantom had to be redone 10 years later do to rider complaints of roughness....
-Millennium held the record for tallest and fastest in 2000, and was shortly
beaton by SD2000. SD had an accident last year and according to rcdb is still an
SBNO.
-TTD was tallest and fastest in 03 and will loose it to KK in 05,
will history repeat itself ad will KK face problems like the past coasters to take
records from cp??
Whether you believe this or not its kind of a funny, that
all these coasters to take a record from cp have had problems.
Just
thought id share that with you!

with the coasters!
I seem to remember a ride like Demon getting
stuck upside down as well as Demon- I think it was a Schwartzkoph Shuttlelooper. It
got stuck at the top of the loop. Does anyone else remember or have photos from
BOTH incidents? My memory is hazy and I just wanna verify what incident it was.

Demon didn't open two weeks after. Turn of the
Century (w/ only 2 inversions) opened in 1976, but in 1980, two loops were added and
it was renamed and rethemed as Demon.

Yeah I remember I was next in line to get on it. The park was open just for one company that day that bought out the park but I remember almost all of it
