Or quoting Robb Alvey "it was chucking wheels"....

Evidently a wheel fell off, and since the japanese are so superstisous (sp?) people, they won't reopen the ride.....

Thats why most of their rides are painted white too, because its good luck....

Strange strange people..... :P

That's not very nice, I've got a question for you then- Why is SD2000 red? I know that clone of Raptor is white along with the majority of those people's rides, but the do have some exceptions.
And why does it seem to me that almost all hypers are red or green or orange? Ive yet to see a blue, yellow, or purple hyper. Or even a black one. Just a question, though I might seem Racist along he lines of coasters, now.

The colour red I think is lucky in Japanese tradition

though I am not sure. Though evidently it hasn't quite worked with SD2000.....

Trust me, they will make room. Besides, they can

always extend the coasters into the water.

well what happeded on SD2000 was that the mechs

reported loose bults and did NOT close the ride, 1 month later, when a train was at the

top of the second hill, it stalled because a wheel fell off. That wheel landed on a man

in the swim in bar. Killed instantly. Still waiting at the top of the second hill stalled,

another train came over the lift and struck the 1st train the in back causeing 2 more

rider deaths. Also a wheel flew off(so 2 wheeles did) and hit a lady in the face while

in train 2, killed.

that is what i have heard. And if this is wrong, well I got it

straight from the news

Very strange with the technology of the coasters today that the

second train would make it off the lift at all with the first train still in the block. Just a

thought.

The problem is that rather than having one lift hill it has

two on the same hill, if you know what I mean- effectively the lift hill section counts as

two blocks. I am thinking that the train stopped over the two lift hill chains- over the

first and second chains, and the second train couldn't stop in time. Just my

theory!

Twister, if I could see you, I would slap you. But I

won't hold it against you. You were "ill informed". News shows

suck, if you haven't noticed by now, most of the news shows go for ratings, and

giving information being secondary.

It is highly unlikely that the train hit the

other, so unlikely that I would go as far as saying it was impossible. The technology

wouldn't allow it. All I know is that the train chucked a wheel and ground to a

halt somewher along the track. The wheel landed somewhere in the water park.

Whether or not it hit some one, I coudn't say, but I'm leaning toward the

"highly improbable" side. As for the mechanics seeing loose bolts &

stuff, and then not checking up on it, that must be false. The rides get checked and

fixed daily. Japan is VERY saftey oriented, one of the reasons it still hasn't

opened back up, so any problem wouldn't be overlooked.

Go Broncos!
