Is there a way you don't have to cut anything?

No, you have to trim the sides of the disks on the

booster or else the SS train won't fit through.

You can take the entire top disk off. There are two

screws hidden by the stickers. Then will have to cut the small part that comes out

from the booster. There is no way around this. It will still work and if you accidentally

cut part of the wheel it won't hurt.

I don't see the need to get rid of the whole disk

unless it makes it easier to cut. Just cut right through it but don't remive it.

I cut right through it while it was completely off.

That was a lot easier. I told him to just keep it off because he did not want to cut the

plastic.

OK.
I tried to

cut my booster. I put the train through it without the booster on. It's pretty

smooth. I back the train up, turn on the motor, let it rev up, put the train thru, it goes

like .00001mph. WTH? I will put up a pic so you can analyze my problems.

Put some speed behind it before entering the

booster...I had the same problem.

I don't think that is it because mine launch fast

with the smallest push. Don't put the flexi rods through the two holes. Instead,

use the middle hole for a rod and have a grey connector or whatever and a

black/green rod to the cross tie. This will elevate the track a little bit so that the train

doesn't scrape the sides. Look at the picture closely to see what I mean

(don't mind that this is an invert)

If you want to get SS cars through booster you just HAVE to cut them. They won't spin at a lower speed, they'll spin at the same speed. If you want to sell them, you'll have to tell the buyer that they've been modified to launch both RR and SS cars.

First you cut off the pieces.
Then you'll have to get the track through the boosters.
For RR cars you have to let the flexi-rods go THROUGH the holes (like described in the book).
For SS cars you have to let the flexi-rods go ABOVE the holes (see page 1 of this topic).
Boosters are rotating at a high speed, so they will scrape some of the paint off it. This happens with both RR and SS cars.

I cut mine, and now when my serpent car goes through it barely shoots off it just goes about 3 inches up and then fails and falls down, do you think this is cuz of batteries I havent changed em since I got it which was bout a year ago and I frequently use it!

Well, if I run both parks of the track, the purple/blue/red lining and the holder things, and the flexible pieces the bottoms of the holder things hold over the orange part of the booster, won't that work?
