Flashback is down due to a severed power cable and probably a realization that a SBNO status would be the best bet rather tahn fix it. Once they start repairing the park, which is what the time between Scream! and this new coaster was for, they will probably fix the power cable ans get it up and running. With the addition of the new Superman train, if you didn't already know, maybe they will fix/replace Flashback's. I know they are in the proces of getting another Viper train and possibly an X train, so maybe in the near future it will be Flashback's turn.

If SFMM is consistent, they will completely ignore the coasters' statuses, add one crappy coaster, and advertise that they have the most coasters on the planet!

But Flashback doesn't run the summer anyway, right? Too loud for the waterpark.

^true probably, if you've been to Hurricane Harbor you'd see thatthere is nothing but a mere wooden wall beeteen flashback and the water park.

Flashback is closed during the summer, but it has been closed becasue of staffing issues. I havent heard that cable thing, but rather it was that the trains were not up to code.

Has anyone heard about those alternate train configurations for S:TE? I ave drawings somewhere, i will see if i can find them.

The new trains would look awesome if MM ever gets around to making them a reality. If this happens, do you think that both sides of Superman will run at the same time again?

Concepts one and two look like something out of a Jules Verne novel, and number three looks like a futuristic WDW Monorail.

Both sides almost never run at the same time because of power consuption. But those sketches are ages old, so it isnt realistic to thikn that these concept cars are going to replace the current cars.

Anyways, back on the SFMM construction: americacoasters.com has posted a photo update and rob alvey's site[www.themeparkreview.com] http://www.themepark...pic.php?t=17424 has as well.

I don't think this whole thing can be just one coaster, anyone who has been to SFMM and seen the expansiveness of the marker area knows that a coaster of this magnitude would be HUGE. However, I'm thinking it isn't just one coaster but a new area. Think SFGAdv's Golden Kingdom. I don't know if this would be a re-themeing of Samurai Summet or just expanding on the Samurai Summet themeing, but a haven't a few of the Samurai Summet signs been removed? The only thing that would stop me from believeing this would be the lack of space up on the hill, enough for a ride, but would it be enough for a whole themed area?

So it's either a huge coaster, or a new area. I wouldn't mind either way.

Go Broncos!

Those sketches were made before the ride even opened. I seriously doubt they would be used, but they do look sweet.

^ I'm thinking they will open/create a new food area up there to attract guests, and put in the new coaster. A flat ride is possible but I sort of doubt it.

This is looking like its going to be an Oriental-themed flyer that will coincide near, around, and through Samurai Summit. A tunnel would be awesome on this.

Umm..Goliath is orange, that doesn't matter, because the supports for the new coaster are orange, too. I'm not liking the colors, but who knows how it will look on the hill.
