There is less than half an inch between the two blue rods.
There is also no way you can put a brown/orange connector between them.
This would stretch the blue rods too far apart, which might cause damage to the seats of the car.

As you can see there is no friction wheel above the motor. The train doesn't stall there though. :)

Then you could make some awesome custom trains! :lov
There is no video yet, since the track is hidden under my bed and there are several pieces blocking the way.

Are the rods pushed in all the way into the cars?

No the black clips are not pushed in all the way. When viewing the car from the side, the blue rods should be as high as the black wheel basis of the car.

The black clips can't even go in all the way because the blue rods are longer than the width of the car

I found it helps to attach three orange/brown connectors in between the two blue rods. More of the car is touching the wheels, so you only need one wheel every length of the train.

I tried this and the space between the rods is just too small.
The orange connector barely fits. I'll use cars without them.

^^Why would you throw out pieces? (Stupid)

^^^You can put those grey connectors on the blue rods (instead of the orange). I tryed that and it worked good.

Yes, that works. But I doubt you'll need it.

I thought of using long grey rods instead of blue ones. Then you could make some awesome custom trains.

Not really I guess... could cause major damage if you don't handle it properly.

Still not really necessary to upgrade friction wheels like this. They are used for transport/lifts, not for launches (unless you're only thinking in NoLimits).
