I"m sure it wouldn't work. I mean serious, wheels going at 30,000 RPM?! It would break the car and the pieces. If it did launch it, the pieces would break, unless you had every pieces hot glued and had an extreme amount of duct tape, lol.

These are made for stations. I don't think 30,000 RPM's would work...

Plus the trains can move too much on the track. When the train reaches a wheel, the car comes slightly off the track. Imagine the effect at 1000 RPM. ;)

30k rpm would be dumb - as crap, especially for a station. Even as a launch thatd ruin the cars and track.

lmao 30000 rpm what are you smoking? Formula-1 racecars don't get nearly that much crankshaft rotation; what do you plan on using to get this insane amount of speed *cough* LMAO *cough* Heck I could be wrong here, I just think the thought of 30000rpm for a k'nex gear and chain steup is hilarious.

1000 rpm? 30,000 out of the question. But 1000? You could set up a good cable luanch out of that.
But also, gear it down more, and you could have any speed lift with insane power. But if you mean rc car motors, which I'm sure you do, then I don't want to use the money.

^why because you think he's lying? My bro was thinking about getting one, and he could get them for 100$ (When he burned them out) and they put out about 40,000 rpm's. On a simple stock revo.

I don't think the SS chain works very good for launching. It's kinda weak .

Hey, what if you used a regular belt (not the type you wear around your waist) in place of the chain and the train gripped it with an eraser. The car wouldn't grip it very well so the launch would be slower and more realistic. Plus, it would be MUCH more relible.

And if those thing's are crankin' 30,000 rpm's, that little structure that's holding them up is going to rip to shreads....

You should make a big line of them and make them get progressively faster!

Of course, each of those motors costs a fortune.

Are you going to attach something to the bottom of the car or does the car grip it without anything on the bottom?
