we can stop with the "awesomes"

anyway, i've had hardly any time at all these past two weeks because of baseball tryouts. Joker's Jinx is still up and there hasn't been any progress since i last posted. I'm still excited about this but it may be a while before any updates.

Ok I finally got some time to work. I got the highest part of the lift built. I'm using box supports during the time of the lift construction, then taking them off when i get them all connected and reinforced. I'll post some pictures soon.

BTW, i made the baseball team! :D

Picture time! These first three pictures are of what was done this morning:

These pictures are what has been done so far today:

The orange columns will be taken out, and i have a few more braces to add before i can do that. Track will be added before taking out the columns for safety (it might fall over or something). Cross braces will be put in between two columns (i.e. the two large ones will have another connecting them in the middle).

Enjoy and comment.

I'm a bit leery of this new support system, and I don't think you're going to finish this coaster those supports. But I could be wrong, and would like to be proved wrong in this case... So keep up the good work!

wow, looks good CC10, your always freaking amazing me, I swear. Pretty sexy man, pretty sexy. I like how your getting away from regualr supportas, and going for a more traditional lift, also good job getting the collumn supports to work well with the coaster frame, I never could get it. keep it up!

Your hands must be ruined by now.
Those supports are really hard to build, I mean, for your fingers. ;)

Sorry to sound stupid, but what are the flower supports? I don't know cause I have never been on this ride before.

It looks amasing so far.

Yeah, they are the three supports at the top of the lifts that flower out at nearly the same spot on the ground. Hence the name. The red circles around the top of those three supports.

Are you going to make all the supports just the collumn supports? no box frames/ Thatd be cool cause thats how nitro really is. Also if youre doing that are you going to use the same amount of supports for each element as the real nitro?

Those kind of supports are extremely weak, so most likely he wont be using those for the main portion of the ride.
