O its definitely 45 degrees i even used a protractor

<_<

 and now i really see how

that is the exact mf lift hill. and the car is roaring with power through the third hill so

far I had to stop building for a couple hours because of math homework but Ill

continue right now.

The supports on the lift are a little weird if you ask me

but it does look a lot better. I am really glad to hear that the train makes it over the

third hill. I sure hope you can finish this. I think the last overbanked turn will be the

hardest because you won't have much speed left by then! Good

luck!

ACtually the lift supports are pretty close to the real

ones with the cross brace and all its just that i took out one column but you could still

tell its mf. Unfortunately I had to shorten the third hill since it didnt make it when it

was higher than the overbank, but no worries except for that last overbank like you

said westisde

I need a little help here guys the train wont go

through the third hill and barely makes it through a short one. anyone know what the

problem could be??my guess is the third turn :( :(

IMO, MF is impossible to build because the SS cars

run out of speed so quickly. The only thinkg I can suggest is spray some WD-40 on

the wheel axles.

Well I did that and reduced

the height of the third hill a lot which will also affect the height of the rest of the model

but its definitely not over yet i will still keep at it to make it work. <span

By the sound of it i don't think the car is going

to make it. Here is a suggestion to help you. Just make the car go around the two

turns(on the island at cp) then have the 5th hill be a chain lift. even tho it wont be a

complete replica because of the lift i still think it would be the best ss coaster ive ever

seen. good luck i hope it works.

The third hill is 2ft. 4" would you guys care if it

were that short for the effect of the whole coaster even if it would make it the whole

way??

I wouldn't care as long as it works. Do you

have the turns over the island already built? I would imagine all that lateral friction will

cause a great loss in speed.

overbank them it will let you not losse speed rather

than leveled turns

I was just thinking and got a good idea of how to

make the mf work compleatly without another chain lift! Im not sure if you have

a rr but what if you put a rr booster or two in the first tunnel? I dont have a rr so i dont

know how fast those boosters are but if the were in the tunnel they wouldent be

noticed and as a bonus the third hill could be built higher than the second one. It should

work in thery but its just a thought.

If he did that, then he would have to ur the RR car,

cuz the SS car does not fit through it, but that is a good idea!

Using an RR booster would work but the RR car is

light so it would lose its speed much quicker than the normal SS trains. The trains

travel much faster than the RR car. Also, the RR booster would make it so you could

have a 3-4ft 3rd hill. However, you would probably run out of speed before the last

turn so you would have to have another booster inside the 2nd tunnel but that would

probably make the train go too fast! Oh well. If only the trains would go

through the boosters!

Well Ive thought of that as well before but then

realized ss trains wont work through the booster and an rr car would lose speed

regardless of boosters probably, plus it wouildnt be realistic for 1 car to travel through

the whole thing

Even if it doesn't work build it for looks, I would

rather see a good recreation that doesn't work than a recreation that works and

you can't tell what it is.
