this is my 1st custom coaster!!! made out of about 3SS sets and lots of ther pieces.

eh...its not bad for your first...you have a lot to learn though.

One of the most important thing with coasters is cross supporting.

that means...this l/l

l\l
you must do this. you can see how the pieces near the bottom are straining.

once again its ok for your first.

The first looks fine for a first.
The second one looks alot better now.
If you want people to comment on your building and such,
Post in the construction forum with pictures of your coaster that you are currently building.

2nd looks alot better. But In my opinion you should build a bit smaller of coaster. Not because your new or anything, but just because you only have 3 sets and few other pieces that might not be enought to support it well. (or you could have tons of large sets that you didn't tell about). Lol, i like the name bone crusher really goes well with the coaster. Anyhow good luck with the new one.

Ok, DO NOT USE GRAY RODS AS A BASE ROD. You can't do crossties and they won't support as well. Use green or granite for a steel coaster.

But Garth is right. I never use long greys for Supports. i only use it for the l/l thing

The lift hill in the first coaster is kinda bumpy. use even supporting, and those stiff grey rods instead of the flexies to straighten it out.

Tips for the reat of the support: http://www.sscoaster...&highlight=lube. Weighting the trains helps a LOT too if your sturcture is really strong. Shaking structure is bad btw.

That first coaster is good for your first model, and that second has a pretty nice lift hill. The shorter structure (second coaster) is no good because you can't cross support. Make it exactly like the taller support next to it.

Sorry man but you have a shit load to learn.

You cant even make a straight lift hill nor do you know how to support it. Figure out how each piece corresponds with another and that should give you a better idea of supporting.

^Like sirchubs said you have alot to learn. Read the instruction booklet it will really help you.
