Dun dun dun!

Devastator is pretty much a zombie (which is torn into pieces and thrown across the floor) and there's an abandoned abyss in the back. I lost interest in it, but I'm saving the switch track, so just ignore the plethora of plastic scattered around the actual point of this thread.

No, it is not a Vekoma hell-machine. Those are as painful to make as to ride. It'll be more of a Nemesis when it's done.

The pre-drop helix (sort of like the Great Bear at HP) almost looks like a cobra roll, which is sort of funny to me. It's one of those CCI turns. (Fun coaster, by the way.)





Here's most of the drop.





Contrary to popular belief, this ride has a loop. The loop got stabbed by the lift, though, so it's not feeling too great.





And here's a side view, which is a bit deformed on the left. Don't worry, I fixed it when I saw it.





Keep in mind, the drop is NOT (I repeat: NOT) a turning drop. It is a HELIX and then a DROP. HELIX -> DROP. It's not a turning drop because I can't make one. (*Stares at Devastator's*)


As for theming, there's already two hints up there. One's a bit too obvious.



Oh, and have fun playing the Devastator element-search. They're all over the place.

Can I get a full side view of the drop? I think there might be a straight part... Doubt it but possibly.

whoa that a sweet turn at the top of the lift, especially for an inverted coaster.the 2nd pic looks like there is a strait part at the bottom of the drop but then when you look at the fifth pic it looks smooth.

I like the idea of the lift through the loop, especially on an angle. That's a very difficult thing do to. How will you add the chain? I assume that the first drop won't be very steep? Everything looks perfect though. Keep it up!

I'm talking about how will he get the chain around the loop. Will he go under or over, because it doesn't look like he has space to add any.

It looks like he has a little space to put the chain under the loop but i might be wrong. Looks good. And lol i found Devestators station lift jiro roll dive loop and cobra roll.

^You forgot the drop, and it's "jojo roll" and "immelmann" (it wasn't a dive loop).

Well, I fixed the drop.

This sort of looks weird for a reason...




...because the shape of inverted cars make it slightly heartlined.

I think you should make the pullout a bit wider at the bottom, it looks really sharp.

I think you could make the loop a bit larger, It looks like you would have the speed for it. Looks really good so far.

Don't make it bigger. With the heartline lower on inverts, the heartline pullout is larger than the track pullout, so the track itself can afford to be sharper. The pullout from the heartline's perspective is fine.

Looks good the pullout is fine and the drop accually looks cooler to me and btw i said dive loop because i couldn't spell immelmann and i always mis-read jojo roll as jiro roll but it dosen't seem to matter because the coaster they were on doesn't work anymore lol.

I can prove that some B&M's have similar pullups.

On Katun, it's pretty small. (Squint your eyes out if you must.)




And an even better example, Phaethon, has a really small one.




I also want to do one of those butterfly-like helixes on Phaethon (in that picture, under the 0-G roll).

God TH you should be ashamed on how you treat your K'nex! xD I think the drop looks excellent compared to Katun... It might be just me but the loop looks a little small.

^Oh jeez, you won't want to look at it the next time I update. I've got a pile of half-baked Devastator elements and other junk in one corner.

The reason the loop looks so small is because the trains go a good three to four inches higher and lower than the track. So technically the loop is about three inches taller than it looks and the drop is about two inches shorter (because it's banked).

I cant wait to see this coaster comes out, I am really looking foward to the butterfly roll ^ and under a o-g would be crazy
