yeah a noob like me is building the maverick and please don't tell me to start smaller because I don't need to for this one... as long as I have enough pieces.

so far its coming out great but I might not start building and posting pictures until July some time.

It will have two triggered by the cart jespurths (sp?) launches in it ,tunnels ,and a station, as good as I can make it.

I have part of the lay out drawn but keep in mind after I figured out how huge my drawing would be I decided to make it smaller every where. right there \/

The first hill isn't really a launch, it's just an LIM powered lift hill.

Well, let's see if this turns out good.

Good luck, if you need a car trigger for the launch I can get you some pics of the one I used on Rampage which worked fine.

The lift/launch will be tough, because you would have to get the speed very smooth. Good luck!

^^^yeah you could do that thanks! i have seen it a couple of times but never really looked at it much.

^^^^yeah i know I made the ride ion RCT3 last night off the video i hate how you have to use the hipper twist coaster. I wish they made one that would work better.

I have a motor that has two speeds. One is about scale mav speed. You might look into it. I think Rollerdude has one also.

Currently compiling a massive list

also, you could try a slower drill launch of some sort, it might work.

this is of the back of my brain, but there may be a way to hook up a lego train motor to the lift, with the engine(powered lego train car, i have 1, and i may show you later) acting as a trigger for the car to hook on... again, this is random... but, the legos may cost some amount...

yeah, you use pulleys, or a large -> small gear ratio,
so have the Motor mounted on an axel with a Large gear,
and have that spin an axel with a small gear on, the on with the small gear will have the chain attatched on regular cogs,
so try Huge Yellow ones powered by the motor, connected to the weeny blue ones on the same rod as the cogs for the chain,
that should double the motor speed.

yeah but it dosn't double the power though. I think my launch lift speed is fine if I need to make a video, ok. I have it so it barely goes up the top of the hill. I will give that a try though.

they cost around with the set $20.00 every one looks at it and says stupid little car so the price never goes to hi on ebay.

your twist is way too sharp!!! also, fix that drop and crest. look at this pic:
Posted Image
you're exaggerating the drop a little.
your crest has a straight part.

The twist into the banked turn is tight and abrupt, make it gradual and start it before the pullout finishes. And I know the turns on maverick are not 90*. Just my 2 cents.
