this is going to be my first woodie called kamikazie. I willbe using blue rod supports. Here are the pics. Any ideas for a layout?

Supports look good. But why are they three rods across?

if i only did 1 or 2 blue rods across, it would wobble when the coaster would go through it.

yea i have no clue what ur doing. u make it blue rods tall and yellow rods wide. and then if it wobbles add batter braces.

change the rod in the circle for a yellow and do only one row.

yep that's right. so far so good. just try and keep it smooth and build it nice and slowly

Yeah do a yellow thick cause you'll run out of blue rods. Trust me I know I did Hillside a blue rod thick for most of the coaster and I ran out of blues after the first drop.

Yeah that's good. Just a little something, your not obliged to do it, but it would be more esthetical if you keep the same blue and the same yellow all the time and you change just when you don't have any left.

ok i will have some pics up tommorrow I havent had lots of time because of a football game i went to sunday night and i have wrestling mon and wends 3-9pm.i do my hw after wrestling so i have no time

Yes, you must do this. It will look so much better. Also, you'll probably run out of pieces, so I suggest using some piece saving techniques.

Ok looking good so far. What kind of layout do you have planed? Maby a traditional out and back will be easy.[you are still a n00b]

Do you have a layout planned? A twister wouldn't be too piece-consuming...

no layout yet any ideas?? I want it to be ride that is somewhat long(around 15 seconds without the lift)

^I seriously don't think you get a 15 second long coaster-Minebuster was long and barely reached (correct me if I'm wrong) 10 seconds. As for the layout Maybe start with a straight drop, then a turnaround??? Oh, and hows the lift going???

I dont have much time, but i might finish it late tonight or thursday. I will have pics. tonight even if its not done. How tall should the lift be. ANd yes 15 seconds is to long how about 10?
