My first coaster on SScoaster is going to be a compact woodie with twisted drops and some crossovers. I was thinking of doing a layout like the Coney Island Cyclone, or more of a CCI layout. The coasters will be about 10 or 12 blue rods tall. But dont worry I will be using a lot of piece saving methods. Also I could add a tunnel or two. I will try to get pictures this weekend.

Alright well at least your rides dont look like complete trash...

I would focus on the shaping of the turning drops and embankments on everything, you seem to have a little problem, which is completely understandable, with making a smooth transition into and out of banking.

Wow thanks guys. I know I'm not the best at shaping and banking. But thats what I came here for. As for the coaster I was thinking of doing the CCI, but with more of an out and back layout.

I built the lift and the drop. I think its ok, but tell me what you think. Also the droop is supposed to be straight, because most CCI drops are.

The crest may be a little too big, and there's a sharp spot on the top. Other than that it's nice and smooth.

The crest is kind of sharp. The pull-out needs to be bigger too. But we actually have a new member that can build!

EDIT: ^ kcm2256 is wrong there's no bump in anything, the only two problems i already said.

Lower the tip of the crest a bit but the rest is good!

Ok, thanks guys. I'll fix the crest. Also do you think the pullout is to small, should I make it bigger.

EDIT:I fixed the crest and I think it looks better. Next I was thinking of doing 135 degree Nitro turn in to a CCI turn like on Boss or Villan. The Nitro turn hopefully be around 7 or 8 blue rods, and th CCI turn will be around 5 to 6 blue rods. Comments.

Double post, But I have a update. I built the rest of the pullout and some of the Nitro turn. But I didnt get the height I wanted to out of the Nitro turn.
