I like how the pretzel loop goes down into the ground, and how the track goes through it twice. The turn after the loop, though, looks really RCT-ish.

thats Nemesis. Thorpe has Nemesis Inferno. I personally think its very bumpy. The original Nemesis is bigger, more scenic and a lot smoother.

He's on about AIR, dummy :P

Getting back on topic, Manta looks incredible. Where to begin...the queue, the theming, the water splash... This is going to be one intense flyer. Not to start any controversy, but it might just take the cake over Tatsu. It's really the yin and yang of B&M coasters. There are the super smooth B&M coasters with lengthy transitions like Kraken and Montu. Then there are the intense, compact B&M coasters like Black Mamba and Batman inverts. This is definitely going to put Sea World back on the Orlando map.

^It should rank among the top coasters but I don't think that it will beat Tatsu. The layout just seems a little short, at least to include a MCBR. It looks very nice tough.

^^ I agree, it will probably be very popular. But like ^ said, I really doubt it would be better than Tatsu. The layout directly following the pretzel loop looks really RCT-ish, and actually, kinda boring.

EDIT: v I just meant that it's kinda boring. Pretzel loop, 180* turn at 45* banking, straight barrel roll, etc. Not the most flowing flyer I've ever seen, but Im not one to complain.

Or maybe RCT looks too much like Manta.

Honestly, why do you guys care if the layout looks similar to a game? It doesn't mean it sucks. It's got to be a pretty intense flyer compared to the Superman clones. I wouldn't be complaining over $20 million in steel.

I wish it opened by Feb, then I'd be able to ride it :mcy

It's no Tatsu, but it's still one hell of a coaster!

Do they usually do testing before or after they do scenery?

The ride looks pretty good though, I wish I would have gone to Florida a year later.
