the "Phoenix" is about $150 according to CD.com

although, the pieces are moulded!!

V Sorry!, well, still, those are a few un-needed moulded parts..

^Dude, it's Phoenix. Not Pheonix.

And only the lift, top of the loop, parts of the drops and turns are made with premolded parts. The rest is flexible track.

^I don't think he thought about buying one.

^^I'm getting some CD for X-mas too. I want a 4ft lift, sit-down train, dive train and one or two expansion packs. I feel like a little kid :) already.

Then he has no reason to comment on the kit. You have a problem with the "realism" of the kit then don't buy it. The rest of the CD system is totally customizable so that you can be a "real" as you want.

I don't know why having molded pieces is such a turn-off. The whole system can be run on flex track if needed. The molded pieces make building easier and help cut down on cost. People complain about the cost, we lower it (without compromising the integrity of the kit), now it is the molded pieces that they don't like. Amazing. I guess you can be content to build the other roller coaster modeling system that has operating shoulder harnesses, a working station with dispatch button, and a custom No-Limits program to go along with it.........Right.

It looks pretty cool, but I doubt I will get it bcause of the small useless electronics I will buy instead....

I think the premolded parts are awesome. They'll take care of the tedious parts to build like horizontal turns and especially lifts and predrops.

^There aren't any "useless electronics" IIRC, since the dispatch button is a switch that turns on the entire lift/station spring. The harnesses open without any electronics, I'm pretty sure.
