Amazing. I guess you can be content to build the other roller coaster modeling system that has operating shoulder harnesses, a working station with dispatch button, and a custom No-Limits program to go along with it.........Right.
Someone should make a kit just like CD but with grooves in the track and a motor in the train so it can reproduce realistic speeds.
It would be so much nicer to see realistic speeds on a CD model than a 2-second coaster ride.

It is ironic that the only roller coaster modeling system that can even remotely duplicate the efficiency of a real coaster gets a bad rap for being "too fast". It's called gravity, folks, and you cannot scale it down.

I don't know why having molded pieces is such a turn-off. The whole system can be run on flex track if needed. The molded pieces make building easier and help cut down on cost. People complain about the cost, we lower it (without compromising the integrity of the kit), now it is the molded pieces that they don't like. Amazing. I guess you can be content to build the other roller coaster modeling system that has operating shoulder harnesses, a working station with dispatch button, and a custom No-Limits program to go along with it.........Right.
It's not that I dislike it, it's just, I thought a real part of CD was build your OWN models, not use moulded chunks to make one of the 340103294929 combinations, it just doesn't have the same appeal to me.
Although, I will be buying some Scorpion / Dragon when I'm in America this winter

Maybe you can't scale down gravity (on earth, ^^ ), but it would be more interesting to see a realistic coaster kit that could actually recreate realistic speeds on a scale-model roller coaster Nothing wrong with CD, I was just sharing my idea.It is ironic that the only roller coaster modeling system that can even remotely duplicate the efficiency of a real coaster gets a bad rap for being "too fast". It looks horrible and it's real inefficient when it comes to the motor.

Right, because Knex is so much more realistic than CD. Stop being an idiot.Maybe you can't scale down gravity (on earth, ^^ ), but it would be more interesting to see a realistic coaster kit that could actually recreate realistic speeds on a scale-model roller coaster Nothing wrong with CD, I was just sharing my idea.

EDIT: Is the Scorpian lift hard to convert to a sitdown model?

Buying a scorpion is the best thing you should do for christmas because you will have the time to experiment with the models and know what you gonna need to buy when the new pieces will come out.
Unless you're not patient

^Yes, you have to shave down the train to get it to work but you just have to wait for the new lift part to use for sit-down and use the old lift for inverts.
Not for me....The invert lift works great with my hyper models.
And ^^, you don't know how long it will take for CD to come out with the individual parts.

You guys really need to see models like The Scorpion, Damondback, SheKra, Montu, any other coaster made out of coasterdynamx. The videos make the models seem more hyper than they actually are. So those of you who don't have kits are making your judgements based on the videos.
If for instant, someone were to build Kumba (my next upcoming model) to perfect scale of 1:48, the model coaster train will be traveling the equivelant speed. It appears faster because of the size.
The premolded parts are a blessing to use seasoned modelers! It will cut down build time, and give us parts to make a more realistic layout. Look at ths picture:
A realistic B&M dip! made wth 3 upbends and 1 down bend.
But, I can see how K-nex is better because it is so much more reliable and realistic looking. There are also 5 different B&M trains that can run on the K-nex parts. (Rolls eyes).
