Well IMO when you use tube supports you are going for realism in both track and supports. I am sure most agree. I would like to see a model with correct supports until he needs to alter them for speed...

yes you are both right but can we keep the profanity to an all time low in my threads please.

I did what rct2123 said about the supports and those so called "naked" supports are actually just the smaller tubes of tube supports. I know I had way to many of them but they did make it like a rock.

I'm gonna have 4 hard rods on every cross tie on the drop XD and don't forget the mid tubing and the lower mid tubing.

^yes, maybe you could put your words and letters in more of the right order so others can read them.

Verbal update, well I'm almost half way done with the air time hill and it's lookin' really good so far the supports are exactly the same as the real one.

I'm virtualy out of grey rods ,there are a bunch on fire dive but only enough to finish this air time hill ,and maybe part of the next.
I'm most likely getting some for Christmas but not many if I get the big ball factory. right now I'm trying to buy something myself.

Why would you start a project you don't have enough pieces for? And not even know if you'll get the pieces needed to finish it?

Ummm great. Some words of advice:
Take down Fire Dive.

I know it's a new concept, but it might actually help you make this coaster better. Just give it a try.

^will when I take the vids. I cant build more now any ways. I have to get it out of that room by Christmas. so I'm gonna post pone this for a while until I get rid of fire dive after Christmas I'm sure my relatives want to see it.

^^I had no idea that used so many pieces I also thought it was going to be far smaller. I have plenty of money for parts. I had only a fraction of pieces I needed for maverick and had to buy about 4 screamin' serpents during the construction.

I'm gonna do this coaster even if I have to use box supports.

you can also make tube supports like this, they bend a little easier but are just as strong.

^Those tube supports are using green rods. You could just use green rods for the tube supports if you have enough snowflake pieces and blue 3d connectors

Guys I thought this over and I'm going to cancel this project. I think I just looked at goliath and thought it would be fun to re create it not thinking how massive it would have to be.

Right now I'm going to take my Fire Dive videos and get that up as soon as possible.

I'm gonna have to steal my sisters lap top for the video editing since I don't have winXP on this computer.

so....

canceled

Sorry I'll try again some time in the distant future.
