FURIUS IS NOT CANCELLED





Sorry TH, but yeah I'm doing a Hyper. I wanted to do a coaster real quick and have it done by Christmas or at latest on the 30th. I've never done [Completed] a Christmas coaster yet. This will be a Intiman Mega-Lite but it won't have the buckel through the lift. Anyway, I built the lift this morning (yes it took me 3, non-stop, hours to build this but I build slow) so here are the pics:




Crest, It's bumpy but the tubing should fix that:

for a mega-lite, the crest is too small. fix that and its great!

i'm not sure if this will be done by then..... good luck though!

Don't have your flexis end/begin in the same place, it creates sharp spots. Not using the 180* connectors in between flexis helps a little too.

I agree with ^, the crest is too small. Make it like a real one's (Kawasemi's) where the crest ends like halfway down the drop.

What ^said make the crest bigger.Why are you starting so late?My coasters take me more then a month to make.

Like everyone else has said, I don't really see a difference between a hyper and a mega lite if you don't make the crest bigger than the pull out.

You also might want to fix the gear supports, they look kind of stressed.

Also, by defenition a Mega-Lite is a Mini Mega/Giga Coaster which means it dosn't have to have a big crest. I just called it a Mega-Lite since It had a steep drop.

This is now a B&M Hyper. I know the drop dosn't look very B&M-ish but the elements will be as such.

Shaping is good, but attach it to the structure a lot more.

^The big spot in the middle wiht no attachment is because I couldn't find a rod combination that kept the curve and didn't make it straight.

It looks good but you do need to connect it more. How can you not find a combination? There are so god damn many of them. Try using 90* connectors and the gray two port connectors. Try connecting it using a snowflake connector with black clips, and a rod from the snowflake to the structure, like the actual SS was like. Find a damn way...

It took me 45 minutes for that to stay in it's shape.




Also, I need some name suggestions. I'm focousing mainly on the coaster right now and I can't think of a name.

PLEASE tell me if this is ok or not. I know it's not the best in the world but I've tried nearly all things to get this pull-out right. Should I keep on trying or just go on?

Ok, since no one posted I went on.

I know this isn't the best in the world but I tried, and tried, and got mad so this is what I came up with. I think it is passable though.

Well, I you smoothed it out it would be a pretty cool element! The main point that you need to smoth is the crest of it. It's like reversed heartlining or something, I don't know. When you make that part heartlined, if you take the same POV, you should be able to see the track rotate around an imaginary line above the track.

^It's heartlining while cresting the top so you wouldn't be able to see the same as a heartline roll. I don't see any bumps on the coaster or in the pics. could you point them out.
