^No, after a giant lift, drop, and 2 elements.

Those don't count.

Here's your problems SPECIFICALLY: The immlemann's twist has a very big bulge in the middle, and it's also inconsistent, meaning that it twists more sharply in some sections than other sections.

The loop is very skinny, too skinny to be considered attractive and pleasing to our sight. It needs to be wider, and it needs more rods connecting the track to the structure.

But if you don't feel like fixing those things, then fine. Don't. Leave, because the point of this site is to HELP people CONSTRUCTIVELY, by helping them to make their model to be as nice as possible, to look nice. If you have no intention of doing that, then your pictures have absolutely no meaning besides showing what an absolute epic failure you are.

Your choice: Take our advice and build a decent model, or leave and continue building your, what was it, "unique" (a.k.a. hideous) coasters.

[/blown off steam]

Ok, I'm good.

I honestly can't tell if that's a coaster, or just some random K'nex pieces thrown together. You really just need to start over, and take your time, I know you probably want to finish a coaster, but I'm also guessing you want us to like it too. I'll try to point out some of the more noticeable problems...

1.The drop need to be smoothed out and flared.
2.About where the drop turns 90* there's a HUGE sharp spot.
3.The twist on the Immlemann is, well barely a twist, it's more like a sharp change in direction. Look at real coasters, try to get it as close to a real one as possible(even if it takes you 100 tries.)
4.The half loop on the Immlemann is really just 3 straight spot, smooth it out, make it a constant curve.
4.That loop needs to be smoothed out.
5.Fix the supports

That's about all the MAJOR problems, try to fix those and then we can help you with the small ones.

Thank you! You're the on person who actually tries to break things down for me! Now I understand what you guys want.

Expect an update... probably not tomorrow, but maybe the next day. As soon as my mom lets me order the yellow rods :)

Oh, and has anyone else noticed that K'nex doesn't even sell normal track anymore? It's like they completely ditched the most popular track design for a s**tty micro-track. And K'nex bricks and K'nex men? Who do they think they are to copy Lego EXACTLY? I thought they were unique with the rods and connectors, which is a great system, but NO, they have to go ahead and ruin their reputation. I may as well just stop building K'nex. I think we should start a petition, being that we are a large percentage of K'nex builders. [/posted in Anything Goes forum]

ok, here is what i dislike.
1)your loop looks really small, and sharp.
2) your immelman thing looks wayy to big and circular, plus there is a straightin part in the pullout.
3)your banked drop is really small and sharp.
4)IMO you are building bigger than your skills.
5)your supports are eating up all of your pieces.

here is what you can do to fix it...
1)make it bigger if you can, make the immelman go to the ground,so you have more space to build. and make your elements as big as possible.
2)look at some real coasters, and other knex models with immelmans get the basic shaping in your head, then create it. if it doesnt looks right to it again. shape the track how you want it, then support it.
3)when you bank things make transitions smooth. again look at real coasters, and other knex models.
4) build smaller
5)try these supports, instead of waisting so many pieces.

Ok, sort-of update:

A: How many yellow/granite rods should I order if I want to do a helix out of the loop, through the loop, and a turn ad heartline roll into the station, and then a turn out of the station into the lift *hint hint layout hint hint*?

B: I'm redoing the drop and crest COMPLETELY. I'll probably keep the same supports, but change the shape and size of the track. I raised the gear at the top, so now the train glides over it smoothly.

Oh, and would someone please make me an MS Paint/Photoshop picture of what the drop should look like, and include my layout please?

...

Maybe trying to support the actual track instead of making a base would PREVENT you from buying new rods...

EDIT:
I think I'm just done posting in this thread...

I've no idea on how many rods you should order for that...

What Luke means is that you can replace a lot of yellow rods with gray rods, this way you have some yellows left.
If you look at the picture in msoccerkidm's post, you can see how to deal with the gray rods.
I think that would help.
