The thing that bugs me, is the amount of Torque needed to do the spiral lift..
Big gear ratio change is needed!

and also, a lot of people are doing Euro-fighters, are they copycats?
I have a feeling I may have to do what CA will/is doing..

I finished adding track...it was very tedious... I have two green motors that I'm using to power it, and it still 'pauses' then launches it, how can I fix this? it's shown in the video...

That looks familiar.
One thing I suggest you do is go back through and make sure it is rising the same amount every 90 degrees around. Just so it is constant all the way up. In the pictures it looks okay but in the video it seemed to get steeper in some spots. And the lift you could try maybe a 3 car train and maybe a different motor. It seems to struggle quite a bit. Good luck with this though.

Most likely it's pausing when the car gets to the connection between the rod and connector...it has a bit more friction there and the motors slow down, then the built up energy releases as the car passes over the connection point. The only thing i can recommend is gearing down more than you already have. Try using the smallest gear you have to that big yellow gear and, although it'll go slower you SHOULD reduce the fast/slow alternating.

I am pretty sure it's the rods flexing. They are quite flexible...

Maybe cross brass the inside of the spinning thing...

Minimize the friction between the car's rod and the rotating part. I've had the same problem, I knew how to fix it, though. ;)
Putting grey and blue rings on the rod really helps. The rod then slides upwards more easily.

looks very cool it looks like it's going to look a lot like gumps did you should put inversions in it that would be sweet. although not very normal.

Looks good man. Very interesting to see the spiral lift. Even though there is another one in construction now, it still is nice to see.

Don't rush it, thats my two cents. Just take your time and make a solid layout. Good work so far...

Great I once tried wayy... back(before doomsday machine) to do one of these spiral lift things it turned in to a heaping pile of poo, I'm glad it worked out!

After the drop, I'm gonna have a dive loop, and the a 270*(ish) turn-around. into the station...that's a possible layout, but I might add more...you'll just have to wait and see!

Please do not put just one inversion in this, that would be uber-lame. You could at least put in some cool turnarounds, like on Doomsday Machine, instead of a 3-second coaster.
