NOTE: Leviathan is not cancelled, or even remotely postponed! This is a side project which will only take me a few days. I invented a way to make a shuttle coaster be able to go backwards through its launch, and even have a lift on its spike (like Mr. Freeze). Oh, and I made another launch too.

The last part without tubing is the beginning of a loop. After it will be a vertical spike.

It looks good. The turn shakes a bit, but I'm sure you'll resolve that. There may be a few bumps on the top too, but I can't tell from those views. Good job though.

Could I see it going back through the launch?

Well, my only concern is the bumpiness the rods are creating.

Thanks! I won't actually launch it that fast; that was just a demonstration.

No, not right now, sorry :D

Yes, I know, the rods make it a little bumpy. But the tubing kinda smooths it out, and I'm going to add middle tubing as well. The hard rods make the track really strong too, which is really important with tubes.

And I took some better pics:

It looks a bit better, but I know this is off topic, but the supports for the lift on Leviathan look stressed.

^^ Really? Well I'll just bend them back then...
^ That coaster is actually what inspired the layout. Thanks!

Oh BTW, I am going to make the whole loop out of flexi's since the top is too tight for hard rods.

How tall should it be?

Over-achieve much?

Looks cool, but I don't like the look of it's low-peaks, as it's going to have a vertical spike, and enough speed to rip you outta your skin when it goes back over, it'd look slightly more realistic, maybe even more epic if it was a little taller..

^ It's going to be about half the height of the loop. If I make it taller, wouldn't that make the top sharper? Or would it be going slow enough to compensate for that?

SS: I don't just mean taller, I mean larger, by a scale factor of 1.5 to 2.
bigger would look so much better..

Come on guys, its a prototype coaster to test his company's launch idea, the track really doesn't have to be perfect.

Oh...ok. I don't think I'll redo it though.

Thanks, and yeah I dont really care too much about the track, as long as it's close enough.

Test Vid

That's the speed that it will actually be launching at...and it will be going slower when it goes backwards.

I see a sharp spot at the beginning of the loop.
