Well, today I finally recieved my Phoenix. First CD set.

First Thoughts (before building)
It seemed like a lot of people were saying the track was hurtful to put on. Also, I was worried that I was going to have to wait to buy Exp. packs to build custom models.

After Thoughts
The Phoenix is an AMAZING kit. Extremely easy to build, took me about 4 hours. The track is super easy to put on, just like knex. Didn't hurt one bit. The kit is very customizable, even without the exp. packs, but nowhere close to the Scorpian. Overall, great kit and worth the price. (got mine for $120)

Glad you liked the kit! It is definitely a much more user-friendly design than anything we have previously offered. Be on the lookout for the new Griffon and Sheikra kits. They are even cheaper ($99) and will be available at Busch Gardens next week. They are probably the easiest kits to build out of all of them.

Looks great. Like I said, I'm a super slow builder so it would have taken me 2 days. You could build a skyloop type coaster. Also, these rails and splices are amazing and the Scorpion rails and splices are terrible.

Basically, the lift runs throughout the whole layout. The station steps go:
1.Train enters station, lifts up restraints.
2.Stops for about a minute, or whenever you press the dipatch button.
3.Train leaves station, closes restraints.

The staion includes sensors and other triggers.

NEW COASTER

For my second coaster, I tried a hard hyper layout, with a pretty sweet helix.

Dude, that thing looks badass for what you have. That's the best Phoenix only custom I've seen so far.

What is the difference between the rails and splices? Are the rails longer lengths? I had lots of difficulty with my scorpion's splices and rails too.

Seeing that custom model makes me want to buy one even more! Awsome job!
