Here is a quick tutorial on how to make my strong strengthners like I used on Psych.

NOTICE: These will eat up a butt-load of flexis.

Parts:
Posted Image
1 Track segment
4 Flexi rods
6 Grey/Red 90o connecters
3 Silver/White rods
6 Brown/Orange Straight connectors

Step 1:
Make 3 of these

Step 2:
Attach to the track like so, with 2 on the ends and 1 in the middle

Step 3:
Add your flexis in the spots shown and add your straight connectors.

Step 4:
Put on your ride! This is what they should look like

It looks like it would hit the wheel casings. How close do they come to hitting them? Can you post a picture?

They don't hit it. If I remember correctly there is a good 1/2 inch between them/

There's not even a half inch between the wheels and the original flexi, but I believe that they wouldn't hit.

Also, I noticed that you connected it to the supports. I don't think that's a good idea, because it can rotate, so it would probably rotate when the train went over. It looks effective, though.

On RWT's coaster he used the same strengtheners. For his Corcks.

Not really true if I recall correctly, he used the 45* grey connectors instead of the 90* ones. But the concept is the same.

No, he used 90* connectors, but he didn't use the silver rods.

It was fine and it didn't rotate at all. They are also good for when you need to connect track but there is no cross-tie like I did in the picture.
