Here is my tut for my track strengtheners.
Step 1: These are the pieces you will need.
Step 2: Make 1 of these.
Step 3: Make 6 of these.
Step 4: Attach like shown.
Step 5: Attach Step 4 to the track piece.
Step 6: You will also need 2 of these.
Step 7: Attach 1 to each side like shown.
Now add tubing and you're finished!

If you use this on a coaster, I would suggest that you shape the track before you add the strengtheners. If you make the strengtheners before you shape it, it won't work, because it is amazingly strong.
