*sigh* here I am again, at the front of a new coaster. Yes, I'm building Stealth; Because it's an easy re-cre to do. the hard part is the fact that I'm using tube supports. I hope this coaster gets completed, let alone completed well. The height will be 6' tall, 2 1/2' wide, and 8-9' long. Triangulation is yet to be measured, I don't think you guys would want to know that. Sice I can't start a thread in construction without a pic, heres how tall it will be compared to me approx.

Oh, and the other hard part will be the launch, I want it to be automatic-handfree, but I don't know if a drill launch would be easy enough for me. Comment!

Wow, you're going big. With tubes. Good luck, it's probably going to shake a ton. And a drill launch would be the best bet if you're going for automatic.

Yeah, that's going to be the scariest thing with this coaster! Hopefully I'll have good footers for the tubes!

I'm sorry, But there is no way you can do this. I don't want to be mean, But this is way above your skill level even with boxes.

^^Pyro, there is no reason for that post. If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. Why don't you give him any suggestions that might make this possible?

-ON TOPIC-

Yea, make sure to make SUPER strong footers. Also, before you start, make sure you have enough pieces for this because tubes use a TON of rods. I say you make a tube support 6 feet tall, then judge your piece amount after that to see if you have enough.

Yes.
If you would recreate it with the supports in the right place, it would sheake like a papership in a hurricane.

Seriously Pyro, your the biggest asshole on the site construction-wise. You really don't even have the skills to back it up. I wish I had never told you my method.

Anyways, I think you will be able to do this. TBH, other then shaking I see no problem with this.

Yay! It's set then, the traditional blessing of the buildsite will be perfored tonight, and the station and launch (If I'm lucky) will be built tomorrow, 'till then I'll try that 6 feet tall tube support thing and pray to god that this works! (Lucky I'm christian, ain't it?)

OK, I got the launch and part of the station done...sorta, I tested the 6' tube thing and realized I need more snowflake connectors! Here are some pics of what I got done!

This is my Reference pic, Preety good find huh?
Posted Image

*NOTE* There WILL be a catwalk on the part that I have done, AND, the connectors that connect the tube supports are there for stability, They are not on the actual ride! Footers are not final either, I'll build on with them like this untill I get the lunch in, Which reminds me, It will be rubber banded because I dont want to mess with what I have done! Finaly... Please Enjoy and comment!

You don't need more snowflake connectors, just use blue 3-d connectors. Thats what i use for my tube supports.

Edit: He's probably right too.

I fail to see where the chain will go.

Do this, Build about a yellow high box support along the bottom of the launch. Then, connect all of your tubes to that and add more tubes. This will give it more support, and give the chain a place to go.

Just use box supports for the launch, tube supports aren't strong enough. I think you can do it, just a foot or two lower.

Are you guys missing the point of this? It's going to be all tube supported re-cre, stealth dosen't have box supports for the launch, neither will I. Anyway, I can just do a rubber band launch. Thanks for replying though! Also, I'm going to make the footers stronger. Your opinion counts, It has been put into consideration.

Dude listen, Steel made a tube supported launch coaster, it had boxes at the bottom. This is the best way to do it. The launch wont be proper without them. Just trust us here, you have to do it or else it won't work well.

EDIT: Box footers wont make it a box supported coaster...
