I still have... Monday evening, Tuesday evening, Wednesday evening, Thursday all day, a bit of Friday (my birthday), a bit of Saturday, Sunday all day... then at Monday Max will stop by to install the electronics. Tuesday and Wednesday after that are for final adjustments as the Thursday after is D-Day and includes the transfer of the whole coaster in a huge trailer.

Lights and spares.
Controlpanel, Sensors and Servo's
Lights, all boxed up and safe for transport.
Some sensors boxed up so the little flippy things don't bend.
Teeny weeny box for the servo's
Some spare motors and gears.

Today Max came over to install the servo motors and the sensors. He succeeded and we have functioning station gates. Track work has also been completed! Interfaces between the separate sections have had their vertical diagonals removed to ensure an easier setup. The only thing that remains is completing the station. We cannot wait for Thursday!
Bonus material - having a sexy time on the loop

Looping Star is, after 11 hours of building, shaping, debugging and modifying, ready and working. Pics say more than words, so let's go!

The little coaster using a very special kind of supporting technique is Big Apple. The supporting technique worked out quite well because the track keeps the supports together.
My nex coaster will likely use the same technique, but will be a lot bigger.
On the pictures of Looping Star you can see a little black frame, we display 44 DIFFERENT ON-RIDES on it. That is over 2 hours of rollercoaster material!
Oh yeah, the pics with the loop on the ground show me working on it. I had to tie-rip the wires to the side.
It took us 11 hours to set up and get working. Tracking and electronics took a lot of time. However it has made many manual laps already and has done about 5 automatic laps. Tomorrow we will fit some brakes so the train stops at the first brake-run, right now it rolls further and stops at the second one.
We got a really good new friction-brake design made up real quick. It works like a treat and is adjustable by the height from blue spacers. So YAY for realistic braking speeds!
