Erm, well the 3rd pic down is a loop I think. And the 2nd pic down is most definitely a curve. Couldn't tell you what exact one, though I might hazard a guess at it being after the loop. The straight part by the wall is probably the station or brake run as it doesn't look much like the lift. Looks fantastic though, as always...

More (semi)-good news. I couldn't get Project Phase to work. We worked on it for 4 hours last Friday but nothing really worked. I contacted my supplier and did some research for me and asked around. Tomorrow I'm going to buy the parts he suggested and see if it works. Fingers crossed, else, no automated expo coaster :(

As Max pointed out in his Project Phase thread, the electronics behind this ride are ready to go. So now it's up to me to complete the circuit. Today I am working on the lift hill for several hours. By the end of the day I want to have it finished, including a chain guide and perhaps a catwalk. :)

This ride is looking perfect! Are you going to be moving the ride to another location? Or is it going to stay in the same place?

This coaster is to be displayed at the expo in Oosterhout.

Looping Star features two electrical systems. The first one is a system that takes control of the tiredrives, the station gates and the lifthill. This way these elements of the ride can be controlled manually or automatically through a script. The other electrical system is a simple one and is actually just the letters (consisting of LEDs) LOOPING STAR on top of the loop that light up.

I can feel the forces of the loop just by looking at it. So round.
