I finally decided "enough with the guessing games, I'm just gonna post the thread". So this is my winter project I've been talking about for a while.

Wow! It looks very cool! So, I guessing it will be a compact coaster?

Steel, you amaze me once again. That elevator lift looks cool. And everytime I look at it, the supports remind me of an escher sketch, you know what I mean?

So far this reminds me of Eagle Fortress, except for the elevator lift.

I think this will be a awesome suspended coaster, with an elevator lift which shall be automaticated. The coaster itself will be themed in the theme of a big mountain, that's what i/we think 'bout it. But i got 1 nitpicky thing: After the big drop, i think that the turn is a bit to sharp...

For just a split second, I thought, 'Euro-Mir?'
...But anyways...

A suspended coaster! My favorite! *squee*

And an elevator lift, too? This is going to be epic!
Go, Steel, go!!

Yeah St33l no offense but you were yelling at me not to start on my winter coaster because the rules arent up yet. What if the rules state "no inverted coasters"? Then what? Or what if there are height/length resrtictions?

I was thinking that too. But, I guess he will not enter. Or maybe he will make a separate coaster.

No offense CCC (Sorry, I had to do that:p). But this coaster is not meant for the winter contest. He is just building it during the "Winter", and its a "Coaster". Thats what people usually call there coasters in winter. And winter coasters are usually compact if I'm correct. Thats what sets them apart from regular coasters.

Just for future reference.

And Steel, its lookin good! I'd take it that your going to change all the mountain pieces to colored pieces. Right?

Can't wait for the next update!

Knexrule11 is right, I do not intend to enter this in the Winter Contest. It's just going to be winter-themed. A lot of people used to theme their coasters for the season, and I love winter!

I'll only change out the pieces when I run out of a color I need. I got low on green rods, so you can see I built some of the mountain with reds.

Thanks, Stig! If you want an idea of what it will look like, you'd be better looking at Expedition Everest or Matterhorn. Those were a big inspiration for me in building this.

Everything you said is correct (and hopefully it will be awesome ;)).
I thought the turn was small too, so I widened it a little. Thanks!

SFMMcrazy: You're close, but not paper...

Sorry to disappoint you Jumpge, but that launch is not for this coaster.

Does the train will go backward after the elevator lift? It's awesome btw!

Yes it will, good eye!

Thanks to everyone who commented, hopefully I will have another update soon. I spent all day yesterday working on the lift hill but I will continue with the actual coaster as well.

Just a general update here.

First of all, the station:

Those gates will hopefully become automatic later on. I'm still deciding where to place the station (in reference to the mountain and coaster).

Now, for the real thing...

Changed turn. Question: Where should it go after this?

And last but not least, the elevator lift. Note: I am about to disassemble this and build a different design. This one just wasn't working out, and it required 2 motors instead of one.

everthing looks pretty good steel! too bad about the elevator lift though. I say make a hill next then have it turn around a few more times until you hit the elevator lift.

Really liking the idea of the train running backwards. The mountain, if done correctly, will make this coaster.
