wow looks great, I don't think I'm able to help you with that elelvator. I think a turning hill or something would be great. Good luck ;)

I like your station. Can't wait to see a video.

I wanted to make a suspended coaster, and you're making me want to do one even more. I've thought about having one of these on a suspended coaster.

Just a general update here.
Changed turn. Question: Where should it go after this?
:rfro

A hilly turn through the mountain with the top outside of it on the otherside.
This is what i mean: Flight Deck (Kings Island)
I dont think anyone has done that before. That will work great on this since your using arrow suspended cars!

~stεεlspectrum~, you are guilty of not only using metalics!

Anyway, I think it should do a hill over the elevator lift. That would be cool. Are you planing any inversions for this? It really look like The Joker's Jinx now. I wish I was you. Your very lucky. :sdd

This is looking great! To be honest, instead of hiding all of the technical stuff with a mountain, I would just create the skeleton of one like you have now. It looks great with all the gears, motors, and track shown. Again, this looks incredible!

Thanks everyone! MP Thrill Rides, I'm glad you like it :D

All you need to do is place rods through holes at small-grey-rod-intervals (picture1). Then, put a red gear on each one, so they twist opposite ways(picture2).

Flight Deck (Kings Island)

Thanks for the idea! I might put that element going over the lift hill next.

^ I guess that might look cool, but I'd rather do what I already had planned ;)

I've also begun the switchtrack to reverse the direction of the train. I'm modeling it after the one on Powder Keg, except mine will go out on the same side it came in.

And finally, a test video.

Awesome! I love the shaping of the track on the bottom of the coaster. I also like the switch track for an invert idea. It will bring an extra pop to the coasters. As if the cars, theme and second lift was going to be enough for you...;)

In the test video, I hear a lot of chinking (or whatever sound). Are the suspended cars hitting the supports? I would fix that. But otherwise, the track work looks great!

Yay, Powder Keg! It freaked me to death when I went on it and I thought that it was going to crash! Looks good. I don't see anything wrong. I like the idea.

If that's the end of the layout it's slightly disappointing, the transfer track will look awesome tho.

Thanks guys! I took out the last turn and and put a straight hill through the mountain. I did this mainly to conserve speed, but I now realize that it will also allow me to do a better layout.

In the test video, I hear a lot of chinking (or whatever sound). Are the suspended cars hitting the supports? I would fix that. But otherwise, the track work looks great!

Yes and no. The first sound you hear is the cars hitting a flexi-rod inside the mountain. I put this there to stop the cars from swinging, so they can fit through the hole in the mountainside. The second sound is caused by the cars swinging wildly on the high-speed turn transition. This rapid swinging took a lot of my speed, so I changed the turn into a hill (like I said above).

Since I have all of next week off school, I got back to building again.

First of all, track-work. Not much progress here, other than the changed ending after the Big Bad Wolf - style drop.

The other main addition is a transfer track. The train will enter shortly after the elevator lift, and exit out the bottom. Then it will be on its way to the main lift hill and the second part of the ride.

And I'll leave you guys with an overview.

agreed with TBM and Maverix, just...

S-O,-G double O-D GOOD!

But the switch track looks amazing and where are you planning for the track to meet the elevator? and the track that is the switch track, the car looks like its going to hit the track beneath it in the picture above the last one. How is that gonna work? Otherwise, looks so great! Can't wait to see this finished!
