Shaping looks good so far, but I wouldn't use a green rod as your base. Use a granite or yellow. I don't know about the supports. they look intresting

Hey, check out pics of the real roller coaster's supports. I modeled these after the real thing. http://omega.ipfw.ed...rineWildcat.JPG

Looking really good, but I'm not sure if you can finish this with that height.

^ Uhm.. Where would the train go in if there wouldn't be track on the whole ride?

Well this looks interresting for sure. Not that you didn't hear that for 10 comments long, but still really sick.
Hope you can get it full circuit.

Thanks everyone! I'm definitely moving on, but I am running out of pieces quickly. Woodies take up so many pieces! Suck, the rails he is talking about are the side rails, not the tubing ;). And Maxlaam, I see your point, how it might be hard to make it through the whole thing, but check out my most recent coaster Wildfire. I think I conserved speed well in that coaster, so I think I will be able to do it again. One more thing, I will also have one more car, and I will paint the cars red like the real thing.

The cars are completely weighted, if you read what I said, the first two videos are without lubricant and with 3 cars, the 3rd video is with one lubricated car (it makes it over)

My bad. Do silicone spray, not lube. And make sure there's no hair on the wheels axles.

the hand rails and cat walks...

for lubing i take my cars completely apart and wash off all of the oil and other crap that gets on them. then soak the axels only in WD-40 for a few gours than put them back together and it works great!!!!

I wouldn't use WD-40 even if you are just soaking the axles. WD-40 can destroy plastic so don't use it.
