Your so lucky, no oe sells them in UK, and when they do there like £80

I've picked up five SS sets over the last 6 months off E-bay (UK) for an average price of £40 including P&P

The cheapest was for around £16 including P&P and the most expensive was around £50 including P&P the the rest I got for something inbetween those prices.

g**i is a really annoying, bidding on a lot of my stuff sometimes.

Ever figure out who that is? They bid on most of the stuff I am interested in too. I have been too busy to watch ebay as much and have seen some things going for low amounts lately. I would not be surprised if prices drop in the summer when less people are looking for things to do indoors.

Comet Recreation still underway.

Proof you never grow up if you keep playing with toys!

I simply search "K'nex" and list them in order of newly listed, I search only through the items that have been newly listed.

Some of the SS sets have simply been listed under the title "K'nex"

Some people mis-spell Screamin by adding the letter "G" (Screaming) so it is also worth searching using both spellings.

If bidding, I usually place a bid during the last 10seconds to save pushing the prices up and being out bidded. Don't round you bids off to the nearest £10 as this is what most people do, go slightly higher ie..£11, £21, £31, £41 or £12, £22, £32, £42 etc.. this could give you the winning edge.

Also, bid pennies/cents extra, eBay still takes it as outbidding someone - I once won a Vertical Vengeance for £25.02 only because the previous bidder's maximum bid was £25.

Well I've been trying to buy a SS on ebay for the past month, but I haven't placed any bids at all. I'm just waiting for a good deal on one.

I'll pay up to $40 for one (with shipping), $45 if it's in really good condition and well-packaged.
I'm planning to bid on this, just so you guys know (unless it goes too high) ;)

Including shipping and handling I just paid $52 for a SS. I still need 3 extra middle cars though.

Did that include shipping and handling? I'd say that's a very good deal either way. I was bidding on one for $32.50 on ebay and I was going to put in my last bid with 5 seconds left... I didn't realize that you had to confirm the bid through a popup, so by the time I confirmed it the auction was over. I guess it's a good learning experience because I've never used ebay for auctions before.

I'm thinking about getting some SS and I was just curious what prices do you guys think for a Shark Run or a Storm mountain.

20 dollars or less, less for shark run. That is what would be a good price.
