Is £51 a good price for a UK SS? (included postage+packing)
Also £30 for a RR?

1. No, way too much
2. No, but a little more reasonable than the SS (Not by much, though)

To everyone here in America:

Craigslist is your friend. Seriously. I posted this ad and I received two responses with people willing to unload 8-10K pieces each and I bought one lot for $175 and another for $150:

I'm looking to buy some K'NEX sets, mostly bigger ones with a substantial amount of pieces. Here is a (more or less) complete list of sets I'm looking for and prices I'll pay. These prices assume the sets are basically complete and all important parts are there (motors, gears, tubing, roller coaster cars, etc, as well as box and instructions):
Screamin' Serpent Roller Coaster - $20
Rippin' Rocket Roller Coaster - $20
Original Roller Coaster (orange tubing, no dedicated car) - $25
Big Ball Factory - $25
Hyperspace Training Tower - $25
Power Tower crane - $25
Trampoline tower - $30

If you just have a big box of stuff I can meet up with you and give you a price quote for what you've got (it's hard to give an estimate if I can't dig through and look at the parts because some are worth more than other). I'm not looking for Kid K'NEX or the new K'NEX with the smaller pieces and lego-like bricks, just the good old school original K'NEX parts. I'll be most interested if there are gears and motors (specifically gray plug-in electric motors, I'll pay $10 each with a power adapter) and will pay top dollar for those items, especially if included in a set. Please contact me if you have any old K'NEX you are willing to part with as I'm working on a large project and am in need of more parts. Thanks!

And here are the two lots:
1 Original Roller Coaster
1 Trampoline tower
1 PTC
Several Cyber K'Nex sets, as well as a few odds and ends
for $175

2 SS
3 RR
1 BBF
Part of a HSST
Cyber K'nex, a few tubs, an ATT, and a few more sets
for $150

Try out craiglist if you can buy in lots and you're in a reasonably populated area. Go with a friend/parent and be safe, but I've done a lot of CL dealings and never have had any problems with anyone I've met. It's really no riskier than walking around a public place with a friend as long as you meet somewhere not desolate.

How much would you give for a 2 storm mountain set that are complete. Found some for sale and was just wondering what the best price is for them?

you guys missed one, I got a SS for $25 +6$ shipping this week. When I have time I look to see what is ending soon and if something isn't bid on make the minimum, If I get lucky score, if not, no biggie.

Crazy when people pay $20 for just a train!

Comet Recreation still underway.

Yes. They will continue to be harder to locate as the years go by. I was lucky enough to get one in a Salvation Army thrift store for $9, but that was an incredible stroke of luck.

How do you find those on ebay? The prices when I check are always sooo high! I was lucky to get a screamin serpent for $40! Are there any REALLY cheap places or websites to get a screamin serpent?

If you wouldn't build it with knex, don't build it at all

I use Craigslist.com. Once and a while they will be really cheap on there, but you always must be careful using craigslist.

There's not really many places for cheap Screamin Serpents to hide anymore. Try looking in a local thriftstore, yard/garage sales, and craigslist. If you're persistent enough on eBay, you can find a good deal eventually.

I would not say that-that was a good deal. I recently got a ship ment of twenty pounds of knex for 85 dollars, that may have been a steal but that might be around 40-50 dollars worth of k'nex.

^There's a quote button at the bottom of each post. Click that if you want to quote something. On another topic, I won this recently, wondering if it's a good deal. (The seller emailed me more pictures of the pieces so I am confident they are all there.
