What do you think is a good price for a Screamin Serpent set or a Rippin Rocket set? Is $50 reasonable on ebay?

I would try to get it for about $40 max. $50 is a bit much.

Yeah I would go for the same. Their are some good prices on ebay but remember to always read the description first before you bid. Only go for the ones that are around 30-35 dollars. Members on SSC are also selling their k'nex as well.

I once got a BBF on Craigslist for 20$. And I've gotten SS's pretty cheap, about 20-25 dollars.

I don't pay more than 40$ including shipping for a SS, $30 for a RR.

It's been tough lately, seems like they are consistently going for more. I am always looking, every once in a while I am lucky and find one that is not bid up. Once I got real lucky and got one that was new/still sealed for about $25 +$15 shipping.

For some reason there seems to be more people bidding on them lately

One euro is 1.38 dollars btw.
It's why European prices get expensive when shipped to America.
It used to be the other way around though :P

yay, finally got a SS at a decent price, winning bid was $21, shipping $20, only 1$ above my normal limit.

I also managed to get a bulk lot that had some SS parts and an electric motor this week.

Definitely seems the Knex prices are being driven by coaster builders. Seems only the coaster sets and things like BBFs and electric motors are getting over bid. A lot of Knex auctions are ending without any bids.

So whoever it is who is over bidding, cut it out! ;-)

g**i sure is bidding on a lot of stuff, gotta be someone from here.

edit: wow just noticed a new SS is now up to $100 with more than an hour left to bid.

Just picked one up for $8.70 at a thrift store. Sheer luck. And it had never been assembled.

Your so lucky, no one sells them in UK, and when they do there like £80!
