Hey guys, back to building again!! I'm very sad to say it but I had to take down my launcher. Had so many things to do and no time for building. But now I have a project to do for school where you have to build an amusement park ride, and of course i picked roller coaster haha. My group told me to build georgia scorcher. It's going to be a little challenging keeping speed through this layout but I feel like I can git 'er dun!! I need your help though. Its due on February 14th so I dont have much time. I need this to be perfect because I'm taking it to school so it has to work every time. Gonna neeed your help to make everything work and get me an A+! First job is to decide how to make it...... Tubes so it lookes realistic but possibly losing too much speed too early, or boxed supports to try and keep as much speed as possible? Let me know ASAP so I can start construction. I know I have no pictures in a constructing thread but there will be some later on today as soon as i figure out how I'm going about building this. Thanks guys!!

LUCKY! I wish I had a school project to build a roller coaster. Well I kinda did but it was something I added in myself. Anyway, I'm really excited to see you build this. You don't have much time so you better get started!

I'd go with box supports. 9 days isn't a lot of time, but it should be enough to finish.

Start building! Like Steel said, nine days is a very short time span for building. And use boxes, they are quicker and easier.

Yeah you can do this. Lucky that you can say that building a rollercoaster is helping your grade. I would say box supports only because of time constraints.

Looks really good so far. I'm really likeing the drop's pullout, and the predrop as well. Can't seem to spot any problems wrong until the track's put on, but it looks like it will be a perfect drop

I'm looking forward to this...

wow, that's already smooth without tubing! Actually I never understood why 'non turning' drops have a pre-drop, do you know :)?

The drop looks great! The pre-drop and drop is very eye catching for the ride!

The drop looks proportionally accurate to me. It's cool to see my favorite stand-up being built ;)

So you know the ride pretty well then? I could use your help!

I will hopefully update the loop later, until then, any more comments?

Fraggie might do this, so keep an eye out for that.

August 2009, during Millcreek's attempt. Finally!

Idk it may need to be a little straighter.

Well it's certainly not the steepest B&M drop. I think standing up has something to do with that. But I did find some pictures for you.

To get a 'straight-shot' of the drop, apparently you have to stand behind some trees.
