Guys, I did it! I finished in time! I've been working a ton today, and I got it and the final video finished! It uses 156 crossties and 96 square granite rods, so it fits the restrictions. Here are the pictures.

The brakes work because the bottom of the cars slightly hit the orange connectors, and the orange rods are just to hold them together so they don't pop off. They're not the smoothest brakes, but I needed to build something quickly to slow the trains down a little bit. I think Coaster55 used them on Catastrophe.
