So today, I passed by one of Mauer Söhne's workplaces, and I saw something pretty big.
After climbing over the fence, I was able to take a few pretty good pics:







They had this rack with all kinds of parts standing there, and I was pretty amazed about the low amount of parts they had left




After a while I saw someone walking towards me.
He seemed like the supervisor or something like that.
Ofcourse I suspected him to send me away, but that didn't quite happen.
Instead, he asked me what I was doing here, and after I told him about my passion for coasters and other rides, he started telling me all about what they were building.
He told me that they got another order for a Power Tower 2, exactly the same as the first Power Tower 2 they had build (Power Tower - der grösste transportable Freifallturm der Welt!).
He also told me that according to those supports on the ground, it seemed like this was only 1/3th of the total tower.





He also told me that wednesday the car would probably be set up, so if I have time I'll try to stop by then.

So you won't have to travel much longer;)

Yup, I went by yesterday, and took some pictures.
The car is exactly like the one on the old Power Tower 2.
It's massivly big and heavy too!







He wasn't sure when they would continue building but:

It appeared that I was actually quite right with this.
They are having trouble finding more of the material, since their old supplier went bankrupt.
So it might take a while before they have all the 3 parts done.
I've been told that they still have enough for atleast 2 segments, and that they might do a test-setup with them.

Well, the scale my model has is 1/16.5.
So according to the information avaible on the original Power Tower 2 by Maurer Söhne, it should be 42.5cm (7/16.5). And it is.
Same with lift speed.
It's about 1 cm too wide in comparision to it's size, but I thought you guys wouldn't mind:)
