The supports are definately Intamin. They have the

Intamin "H" on the bottom, and many other features only seen on

Intamins. As for a rocket coaster, its about the only rumor that seems logical at this

point. Their still is a chance it isn't though.

Six Flags getting a rocket coater? it just seems unlogical,

TTd was $25 million.

Well SR was only $13.5 million. SF just

thinks putting in a record breaking coaster is going to bring in tons of attendance and

get them out of all of their debt... Sure it will bring in 1,000's of coaster fans, but

not many GP. The reason TTD is bringing in a ton of people is not just for TTD, its for

the park as well. CP is a great park, its clean, has a nice atmosphere, and has nice

landscaping, plus CP gets a lot of word-of-mouth advertising, b/c most people have a

great time their. SFGADV is dirty, has a poor atmosphere, and has poor staff. If SF

spends $25 mill on a record breaker, were will other improvements in the park

come in? This year was a nice step forward to making the park better overall, but im

afraid next year may be taking a step back. SF just doesn't understand this and

they think putting in a new coaster will bring in a lot of attendance, and im sure it will

bring in some, but not as many as if they put $10 million into improving the park

and fixing all of their current rides.

lol agreed HPRenegade150, gadv should be more

concernered about cleaning up the park than a record braker. if they are palanning on

spending 25 mil on a new coaster thats a record breaker, they should be spending half

the money ona coaster and half on improvments to the park. Gadv has to realise,

being liek cp and adding djs and new covers for there coasters lines doesnt make them

all a sudden a good park, those things should of been done years ago...

^True, but let me point out one thing. Nitro in 2001

was also 25 mil and it did very good for SF. Might've even done better without

9/11/01.

Sounds logical to me. But why not put it in their best

SF park so that they can have a signature park and catch up w/ CP! Such as

Sfgam! Haha. They keep good care of everything, staff is nice, and the park is

beautiful. Sfmm may have a lot of coasters, but its quality not quantity. Sfmm may

have good quality, but they need to keep their coasters open and have more

staff! :(

Nitro cost $12.8 million dollars, but this may

not include the price of landscaping, advertising, etc... They spent $25 million in

2000 on Hurricane Harbor.

Well there proof, the park can spend in the 13 to 16

million dollar range, and still get a great ride that the gp will love. Theres no reason

why gadv should have to spend 25 million dollars on a coaster to make it the tallest

when they can spend 14 million on a smaller coaster and still gett the same results.

fixing other areas of the park.

Track has arrived, as can be seen here. The track is a lime green and turcoist (sp???), which to

me says they are copying off of ttd and its alternating colors, even though i think those

colors alternating along with those supports are just ugly, and to similar to hydra.

Plus the station track, which is thinner, are also both colors, so that means it will be

alternating through out the entire ride.

Also, more supports have come,

which are also different colors, midnight blue and a light blue. So either all 4 of these

colors are going to mix, or theres going to be 2 coasters ^_^ , which isnt likelly.

Footers are begining to form as well.

the only track that seems to be here

is the launch and station track, so its still unclear what the layout will be, but

unfortunitly, it seems to me after being there it will probably be a ttd clone.

I say this because, on rolling thunder it is clear the tree cleared area has 3 big

footing holes, which forms a triangle shape like ttds tower. Not to mention the 2

paralell lines so far leading up to the tower. The only thing throwing this off is to me

the paralell lines are closer together than ttds AND there one footing hole in the

middle of the paralell lines, but who knows, but i think we'll have all the answers

in a week or 2. After all the season park entrance closes one sunday, so that when

construction will probably really start up...

Those support beams look massive.

A

little off topic but where is gadv?

Way off topic but Hydra looks like this.
