I recently bought and built my first CoasterDynamix set, the Comet! I found this set to be quite challenging to put together. I specifically had a hard time keeping the cars from falling apart and to complete a full circuit with a complete train. That being said, the model looks great. I applaud CoasterDynamix in making this set a reality though there is still room for improvement, such as a better order for the instructions.
I created a short video with my first attempt at time lapse showing the construction process.
Am I right in assuming the "steel" coaster based kits are easier to assemble and are much more reliable than the Comet? I'd like to try one next.

I honestly didn't know that CD made wooden kits but it looks nice. the downside i think is that you can't easily make a custom coaster.

My, you make me so jealous! I've been wanting this kit for quite some time now, when I do (because I will sometime!) I will customize it though, paint the supports and the trains and re-do the station a bit. The colours of the ride don't appeal to me.
