I am in need of up to 3 STATIX B&M hyper or sitdown looper trains. In addition to creating professional models for the theme park industry, I also do them for collectors and I am being commissioned to build a working Diamondback model which will include scenery and lights. The trains DO NOT need to be Diamondback STATIX however those would be the most ideal and would save a lot of paint/decal time. I am also able to 3D print lap restraints if the best I can do is a Kumba train for example. But I can make use of ANY of the following trains:
Diamondback
Silver Star
Apollos Chariot
Kumba
Intimidator (Carowinds B&M train, not Kings Dominion’s Intamin)
The collector wants 2 trains but I prefer a 3rd STATIX in order to be able to add some rows to those 2 and make them closer to actual length. CoasterDynamix no longer sells these, and Kings Island no longer has them in their gift shops. I am in the middle of contacting other parks, but as many of you know, these are hard to find today and only come up on ebay once in awhile. This model is being constructed in 2019 so I am trying to reach out to as many areas as possible now.
And for those that may have seen photos or video of the Raptor model that was built and painted for Cedar Point back in 2004 - that was me. Been doing them ever since.
