Incredible! Those boosters were definitely needed. The only way without them would be to build the ride backwards, and just make the ride taller as needed, and it would be out of proportion. It is almost as if all/most of CP's rides can not be recreated without boosters. Millennium Force, Maverick, Raptor, what's next? Mantis? Great job!

The coaster is so big and stretched out, it looks so good. You did a great job on the supporting, there was not a lot of shaking.

Here is a Time Lapse of the set up at the museum. Josh and I set it up and it took eight hours to do so. I now wish I would have taken at least twice as many pictures but o well. Also Josh forgot to bring the chain til the next day so that's why there isn't chain. Luckily we did get it working a it was a good time.

Wow, this is real nice. You did a good job. ;) Were you two turning the boosters on and off so that there wouldn't be too much noise for too long?

I'm not done building yet.

SCM, noise was a factor for being able to hear people, but also just to keep the batteries in good condition, after running for a while the batteries started to die and it would stop working.

Thank you all for the comments. :D

Great job dude. Recreations of any ride are very difficult, but you managed to pull this one off pretty nicely.

Great job Alpal and Josh Monster. This recreation came out way better than I ever expected beforehand. Do not feel ashamed for using boosters on this ride, a recreation of Raptor without boosters is almost impossible. I admire you guys for showing guts and trying to recreate this coaster. I saw in the video that there were some shaping issues, but that is inevitable with a tube-supported coaster (built with mainly flexi-rods for the track) on an expo. I like how you took a seat during the expo, I always do the same. Recreations are never easy, but you guys did it, congratulations!
