We woke up at 2:30, to drive to the park all night. When we arrived, the first ERT was already going on.
On our way to Millennium Force, we noticed that Raptor was stuck on the MCBR with people riding. Luckily, it was only temporary.
When we got to Mille, there was only a ten minute wait! We rode third car, front.
After we got off, the ERT was almost over, meaning it was Maverick time. We took the long walk over, and waited about 5 minutes for the ride to open. It was a walk on! We got on twice, both in front row before the big crowd came.
After Maverick, we went back to Mille. This time still only 15 minute wait. I went on with my mom who was nervous, so I didn't get to ride back.
The park had now opened, and we scooted on over to Gatekeeper. This ride seemed more intense than I remember, but it was still pretty forceless. We rode back left, my favorite seat.
We had one more ride to get on before lunch time, and Everyone wanted to ride Mean Streak, even though it was on the opposite side of the park.
Mean Streak is still awesome in my opinion. The trims on the first drop do kind of ruin it, but it is still fun. I did notice the roughness a little more this time, maybe because I never rode front seat. I still absolutely love it, though.
Lunch was great, It was a grill out. This was also where we got our gift boxes too.
After putting our generous packages in the car, we rode Raptor. This ride is still just as forceful, and I love it. I love how there is absolutely no rattling on the trains, feels so much better than Banshee. I rode back seat, left end.
Then to Iron Dragon, which we all know is the worlds most intense coaster.... ever....
Gatekeeper one more time, My mom loves it. Here's me in the station, with my head pushed back.
Power Tower was next, because my mom wanted to relax a little (she doesn't ride drop towers)
I rode Blue side (The one that thrusts you downward) and I loved it. I might be the only fan of drop towers on SSC...
Then it was time to meet up with two SSC members.
This took quite a while, but we finally met each other, and started going on rides. Our first ride was Corkscrew. We rode front car, I was behind them. Corkscrew is much smoother than I remember. Though last time I rode back, which didn't help at all. I really liked this ride.
Then something very funny happened when getting off. Well, not funny at first, but... Let Stig tell you...
Top Thrill Dragster, being closed all day... ;(
Next up was Magnum. I can say this ride is most enjoyable in the middle, where we rode. Everywhere else hurts a little on the ejector hills.
This ride gave so much crazy airtime, I couldn't stop laughing the whole ride.
Gemni was next on the list. We rode back on blue train. This ride is jerky, and kind of painful. I love it.
Then we went to the most painful ride in the park, Cedar Creek Mine Ride. As all mine trains are, this ride was sketchy, painful, and jerky. We rode this in the back as well. I love this one too.
Then came SkyHawk, which was my first S&S swing. This ride is surprisingly fun with a crazy amount of hang time.
It was time to relax a little, and what better thing to do then take a tour through the museum?
They had one of those six foot Ferris wheels set up. This set has a ton of pieces, much more than I thought.
They even had models of Blue Streak, Log Flume, and Mean Streak! They were awesome looking, especially Mean Streak.
PONIES!!!
One more ride on good ol' Mean Streak was next. Still love it.
We had to leave early because of the long drive home, but that's okay, I we still got to ride a ton! (Except you, Top Thrill. Grrrrrrrrrr.)
This was my favorite of all of my trips up to CP, Thanks guys for hanging out with me!
